Close to the ladies market and the station.

no safes in the hotel rooms have to use the safety deposit boxes in reception this is a bit of a hassle but not the end of the world

The hotel is well situated near the ladies market and many great shopping centres. Thers are western restuarants in the area and all the usual western take aways are available. The hotel is one block up from Nathan road and the undergroung train station Prince Edward is right opposite the hotel .Great for a one or two night stop over. The rooms are spacious compared to Hong Kong Standards and clean.

Restaurant Tip : Just across the road fromthe hotel is a market near the Station that goes to Hang hom there you will find freshly squeesd fruit and vegetables juices for only HKD 10-00

Good Location

Small rooms No free breakfast or internet.

The location of the hotel is near to the MRT which allows you to go to anywhere in Kowloon. The standard room is a disappointment as the beds are small and hard. The no free breakfast and the use of the paid internet is a minus point. there is little room to put your things in closets or drawers. For a place to stay in a general location and price for no frills, the hotel is acceptable.

Location is very good, service staff able to speak English and professional in service

Very small rooms, aircon vent blows directly on the beds

Exit C from Prince Edward Station (2 mins away) but note that must use stairs (not escalators) for this exit. Has a counter to buy HKG disneyland tickets in the lobby. Left my credit card there by mistake and went out. Came back to find a msg in the hotel phone and even on the hotel TV informing me that the credit card was kept by the reception. The aircon vents blow directly at the bed area and the room was smallish (although I was at the 10th floor, VIP floor). The porridge stall at the back of the hotel was open till late and so was a 24 hour restaurant. No romantic ambiance in the rooms.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Buy the tourist pass at the MTR stations. Cost HKD 55 but can get back HKD 50 plus HKD 20 in vouchers to be used at the malls. Also the tourist pass can get you to the Disneyland so easily so no point paying more than just the cost of the ticket to Disneyland alone rather than buy a tour package there

clean room very good location good service nearby metro station

extremly small room

I spent two weeks in Metropark hotel and I'm very satisfied with service. Room was extremely small, double bed and half meter of space on two sides of the bed, other two sides were by the wall. Bathroom was clean and normal size. Hotel made surprise to me and I got cake for my birthday which was during my stay in HK. I had problems with key cards because sometimes they worked sometimes didn't but there was telephone in hallway and someone came very quickly when I had problem.

Close to MTR

Limited non-smokimg rooms

A few minutes walk to MRT which goes to Lowu and Windows of the World. Very convenient location with lots of reasonably priced family restaurants near by. Hotel staff are friendly, but English language is not the best.

Good location

the toilet was difficult but they tried to fix it but it still didn't work right.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Its close to MTR and Lady street and many good restaurants around this area. This location is just in the center of kowloon. The hotel is very clean but small and the house keeping lady was very nice. Whatever you request for she response very quickly.

Travel tip : MTR and lady's street

Less than 10 mins walk to Prince Edward Station, which is a stop away from the bustling Mongkok. Lots of restaurants ard tht open round the clock. Fa Yuen Street (known for cheap fashion buys) is just 15 mins walk away. Service of hotel staff is good, check-in/out & transport arrangement was a breeze.

Room wasn't sound proof...so if your neighbour is an owl & yaks non stop at night, u will be in trouble. Aircon wasn't cooling at all, in fact its as good as having a fan on minus the wind. Bed is pretty hard but that also means good support if you are the kind who toss and turn often. And there's no safebox in the room so its a little inconvenient since you can't lock up your valuables in a place thats within reach.

For its good location and affordable price, I will consider staying here again. Its a safe zone even if I were to head back to hotel late at night as the surroundings is still bright from the lightings of nearby restaurants. For a place that barely requires taxi transport to fetch you from place to place (since its so near the MTR), you will definitely save a lot on transportation.

hotel location very near MTR station.

Aircon system. cannot control temperature

1st time check in they gave me good quiet room on VIP floor. 2nd check in after Macau trip they gave me a room which have very noisy aircon (best of all, my booking is on deluxe room as compared to the 1st booking of standard room).

Restaurant Tip : many good shop around offering good local foods

easy access to MTR station, discovered a big shopping mall near the hotel, particularly liked the convenience of the shuttle bus service.

mini bar was empty at all times during our stay.

Although I have already been to Metropark hotel in Kowloon, i was happily surprised about the quality of the service we had at the airport. The staff for the shuttle bus was fluent in english and very customer oriented. Our one night two day stay was good overall except that the food we bought at a food stall near the hotel, was bad and we ended up without any diner.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Allied Shopping Mall near the hotel was excellent value for money!

The area there is very near to ladies market. Just a 5 minutes walk you are able to reach the place. There is also shopping open till late.

The hotel do not have any good view.

The service people are very friendly. The room we book is big, clean and neat not like the review that comment the room is small. We book the hotel at the agoda website that have 20% promotion for superior room. When we reach there they also give us another HK100 food voucher. Which is good promotion.

Shopping Tip : Near Ladies Street, Mongkok Shopping centre open till late.

Great Location, Excellent Staff, Clean and spacious Rooms, Very efficient and honest housekeeping.

Few english TV channels, have to pay for wifi

It was my first trip to Hongkong, when my girlfriend and I got out of customs we asked the information how to get to Mongkok and being on a budget we opted to take the cheapest option which was bus A21 which was only HKD$33. we figured we would ask around for directions to Metropark Mongkok Hotel when we got off at Mongkok. The bus journey only took 30mins and to our surprise it stopped directly in front of the hotel! You cannot miss the stop because there is a LED sign inside the bus which tells you "Next stop is Metropark Mongkok Hotel" and the bus even has a compartment for you to place your luggage near the exit. The Train from the airport would cost HKD$100 and Taxi would cost HKD$300+. When we got into the Hotel, all the staff were very helpful and very friendly and all of them could speak english. I booked the hotel through Agoda and opted for a smoking room and double bed, they did not have any avaiable at that time so they upgraded us to the VIP level for free. We did not expect much from the Hotel room but when we got inside we felt very comfortable right away. It was very clean and spacious, there was a big double bed, the showerhead was big and had good water pressure. There was an extra pillow and blanket in the closet, a hairdryer and a TV. One good thing we realised was that the housekeeping cleans your room even if you did not put the "please make up room" sign. On the first day we left some money on the dressing table not knowing that housekeeping would clean the room, when we got back at the end of the day the room was spotlessly clean and the money was still on the dresser. One more good thing about the hotel is that it is literally one minute away from Prince Edward MTR, it is just across the road behind the Hotel. The station even has an Exit called "Metropark Mongkok Hotel Exit". If you want to shop in Mongkok area where the Ladies Market and Argyle street, this Hotel is perfect because it is just a 5 minute walk away and it is away from all

Nightlife Tip : The only way to get back to the Hotel from Lan Kwai Fong (famous clubs and bars area) is by taxi after midnight and it would cost around HKD$100.
