location, close to various restaurants, 7/11, nathan and ladies market

the bed is hard but still comfortable

The hotel is very close to prince edward mtr. MTR has directional signage to the hotel which makes it even more accessible. Checking-in and out can be done in a jiffy...it's real fast. Conversion rate is also competitive. The hotel receptionists are very helpful and attended to our needs real fast just like when we requested for an adaptor and iron....and oh yes, they provided an ironing board along.. The hotel is clean. They replenished our towels and toothbrushes daily. The room is good enough for two persons.

Restaurant Tip : enjoy the congee at the back of the hotel..it's cheap but delicious

1. Location - it seems close to all points, i.e. shopping at Ladies' Market, MTR, etc.. 2. Cozy floor lobby and hotel rooms - Reception or ground floor lobby may be small but as soon as you get out of the floor to head to the room, the smell of clean air and carpet design and floor lobby design feels very much like you are in a 5-star hotel. 3. Staff at the ground floor lobby (from the reception, cashier, bell boys, security) are clean, organized, competent and helpful. 4. Food - nice choices of food buffet at the 2nd flr coffee shop. 5. Service - room service is quite fast.

Can't think of any weakness.

The whole family find the MetroPark Mongkok Hotel a very convenient place to stay given its reasonable price. The hotel may not have a grandeur lobby but who needs it anyway when guests like us would look forward to a cozy room to stay after shopping and sightseeing. We find the size of the room just right, the beds are comfortable, cleanliness is top, room service (when my two adult children ordered food) was quite fast. The hotel is well located, very near the Prince Edward MTR station and walking distance to Ladies' Market - we find it very convenient, excellent! I asked my children for their thoughts about the hotel, any improvement and anything that they did not like and the response is negative. My children have quite a high standard and taste. They are sensitive when it comes to service and cleanliness. They would definitely go back and stay in the hotel and would refer the same to their friends.

easy to access

lack of facilities

one of the most convenient hotel for a business traveller who needs to be in HK and then on to Shenzen/Guangchow as the hotel is firstly easy to reach by just one direct bus from Hong Kong Int Airport and is just beside the inter city bus interchange from HK to Shenzen or Guangchow. the hotel is also surrounded by a lot of night eateries and shopping complexes are all in close proximity. hotel is highly recommended for business travellers.

very good location, 3 minutes walk to subway Prince Edward Station, 15 minutes walk to Longhoufong and the big shopping area. spacious, service is very good.

internet is not free, a little bit far away from Star Ferry if you walk

Metropark Hotel Mongkok is in a very good location, 3 minutes walk to subway Prince Edward Station, 15 minutes walk to Longhoufong and the big shopping area. The hotel is not like the other "cage" I used to stay in Hongkong, it is quite spacious (at least the room I stayed this time), which is unusual in Hongkong. The hotel service is very good, I will come back.

Shopping Tip : 15 minutes walk to Longhoufong and the big shopping area

Good location. Reasonably priced. Clean rooms.

Weird stench in the hotel room. Bad sound insulation between rooms. Hotel lobby gets very crowded and there's not enough seats at the lobby's waiting area. No safe box in rooms.

Very good location. You can take bus A21 from the airport and it stops right in front of the hotel. 2mins walk to Prince Edward MTR and 10-15mins walk to the shopping area in Mongkok, though you can take the MTR to get there too. It's just one stop away. No problems with finding food near the hotel as there are many eating places at the hotel's vicinity. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

Mongkok Metropark Hotel is definitely a great place to stay. The hotel location, cleanliness, room spacious, value for money are just so impressing to me...however, the staff could be more friendly...even they are helpful as long as we are asking for help...

Good location, reasonable price

The hotel doesn't provide complimentary bottled water

Metropark Hotel Mongkok is located in good location. It is about three minutes to reach the nearest MTR Station (Prince Edward Station), and bus stop is just a step away from the hotel. It's also easy to find for food, many small restaurants around the hotel. The price itself is reasonable. The room size is not too big, but still better compared to other hotel's room in its class in HK. The hotel also can keep our luggage, if we need to travel without our luggage, let's say to Macau or Shenzhen, for HKD 10 per night per luggage.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You may buy Disneyland or Ocean Park ticket in hotel lobby. You can save your time from que up in the Park.

although the hotel was renovating, the access to streets and elevator was still optimal. the staff was great in answering questions.

the pay phone area was too close to the lobby and it was too noisy to have a conversation. i took the shuttle to and from the airport, but they failed to ask me what airline and dropped me off at the wrong terminal. i had to walk to terminal 2.

it was a wonderful experience despite the typhoon coming close to hong kong. the staff notified the guests and provided information on food and precautions.

Good location. From airport take A21 will take you direct to the hotel. Customer service is excellent as well.

None

Location of the hotel is excellent and it is very easy to get to the hotel without taking a taxi or airport express. It only costs HKD 33 and it will take you to the hotel directly. Customer service is very good as well. I was lucky to get a free upgrade to a bigger room with 50 HKD cash vouch for the next day's breakfast. I hightly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

location, price

no free wifi, rooms/hall decor needs to be updated, no gym

decent price for Hong Kong, convenient location, close to restaurants, mtr, nathan road (prince edward stop), drop off laundry on same block (back door), booked superior room and it came with $50 hkd voucher for each night we stayed (to be used in cafe or restauran in hotel), new elevators just put in, expensive wifi, signal weak in rooms so need to use in lobby, rooms/hall decor dated and needs updating, no gym

Travel tip : Buy 24 hr wifi PCCW card($20 hkd) or 30 day wifi PCCW card ($160 hkd) from 7-11 store instead of paying for hotel wifi!!

Great Location - within walking distance of markets and shops

Beds are quite hard and decor is quite dated

This hotel is mid-priced and you get what you pay for. I stayed here in July with my family in 2 superior rooms but they were quite tiny in size. There was only a tiny window at the edge of my room and most of my view was a brick wall. The bathroom is quite old and in need of refurbishments as both the sink and bathtub has cracks in them. The beds are very firm but the linens were of good quality. Our main complaint was the level of noise created by the air conditioning unit - it sounded like a hairdryer going off on full power but when we tried to switch it off - the room became very stuffy and warm. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are in Hong Kong on a budget.

Shopping Tip : Visit the market on Fa Yuen Street - is a not as busy as Ladies Market and prices were cheaper as it is not a tourist attraction.

Very helpful staff. Very close to public transport. Very clean and tidy. Everything under one roof.

View out of my window.

When we arrived at Hong Kong we were actually taken to the wrong hotel to be told we were actually booked at their sister hotel I was disappointed but as soon as I arrived the cheerfulness and helpfulness of the staff changed my view and that didnt change my whole 4 day stay. The room was clean and tidy and great value for money. The hotel is stituated about a 5 minute walk from the train station which takes you every where we never waited more than 2 minutes for a train. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff I highly recommend this Hotel and will definetely be visiting again. thanks for a wonderful stay. .
