Great Location but Rooms are a little above averag

Place of stay is above average and noticed that whilst it has Wifi facilities in the room which is good but the same power socket is used leaving no available sockets for your other electronic applicances that needs power, ends up have to ask front lobby to provide you with a socket-board.
However this place is in the bustling Prince Edwards and MongKok Station area, so has great access to food (even if late hours) and transport facilities.

Summary of Metropark Mongkok Hotel

Except for good customer service and proximity to Prince Edwards MTR, the hotel room furnishing is old and small. The bed is as hard as the floor and the pillow is so thin. Location is far out from the night markets in Mongkok. Will not stay in this hotel because there are other hotels with similar pricing in better locations!

Great location near transportation & food
In the middle of a average HKG neighborhood. Not the upscale shopping district (that is a positive for me)

I have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 other times. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The free internet is wired on some floors, and WiFi on others. If that makes a difference to you, ask for the appropriate floor.
There are local restaurants across the street and around the corner, and they are very good.
The subway is across the street and is easy to access. The A21 Airport Bus stops in front of the hotel, and is the easiest way of getting from the airport to the hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The building behind the Metropark is under major construction. Make sure to ask for a room that is on the OTHER side of the construction site. It is noisy.

Near to Price Edwards MRT station, close to nigt market and famous Hong Kong food

Hotel service was superb. Got in the hotel room in less than 10 mins of arrival , facilituies and utilies is well maintained. Close to MRT and bus stop . Having breakfast , lunch and late dinner is no challenge at all with all the famous local delicacy srrounding teh hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
enjoy shopping at Megabox ( Kowlong ) , free shuttle service from MRT to shopping mall.

A great hotel worth staying

Metropark Mongkok Hotel has a very stragetic location where airport bus A21 stops right in front of the lobby, Prince Edward MTR station, eating places and night markets are within walking distance.
It will be perfect if a power extension cord is provided in order to get the multiple electronic gadget recharged simultaneously.

We were impressed from the time we arrived. The polite and efficient attention to detail was very welcome after a long flight. The room was of comfortable size without being spacious. All was clean and tidy and the room cleaning staff pleasant and cooperative. There were a couple of times when we found the information provided was inaccurate but this coule be due to the number of guests causing confusion.
Shopping Tip:
Many of the markets are close to this hotel. If you want upmarket shopping you have to get closer to the centre. Many food outlets means a great variety of cost and style more in keeping with everyday food than fine dining.

Old hotel and bad service

I moving to this hotel as it is nearer to the airport compare to the previous hotel I stay. But I was surprise that I need to walk on a stair case for addition floor as the lift only up to 12 floor and not 13 floor.
The room is small and the ceiling is low which make me feel uncomfortable. Although the price is reasonable but I will not stay again.
