Decent Hotel, Well-Priced Guest Rating: 4.2

First impression is that the hotel is not that great/grand. However, the interior of the lobby is well designed and looks clean. We stayed on a non-VIP floor. The room initially seems way too small, however, it was decent for living. The room comes stock with a fridge and a decent TV with a fair amount of channels. The bathroom was clean and the shower/shower head was functional. Customer service was a plus and the staff's English was also good. We asked for a power converter and it was brought up to us by the room service. The escalators were a bit slow and there are only two stalls. It was also a bonus that all local calls were included as part of the booking. Overall, a great value hotel. Also, the hotel is located in a very lively area. Shops do not close until later and you can get food at almost any time of the night. There is a 7/11 right next door for any emergency goods.

Inexpensive, good customer service when checking in and checking out, hotel restaurant was good, proximity to nightlife and subway was a positive, room service was reliable, airport shuttle was reliable and frequent, security check at night was a good touch.

Drapes were disgustingly dirty, odd smell toward the back entrance of the hotel.

Location is good but staff no good they don't say good morning and thank you to the costumers. Restaurant don't assist coming costumers. Room they don't clean so well. All no good, we will not go back to Mongkok Hotel and will not recommend to our friends bad costumer service nothing is nice from staff and the one wearing black uniform, don't know if manager or not. Everything no good. They must learn good costumer service, good manner and right conduct.

I think the hotel location is very good. 7/11 and MTR are near by the hotel. There are also some restaurants around the hotel. From the airport to hotel, its very easy, you can take the bus "A21". But if you want to go to the airport from hotel, it is not easy. Because there is no bus to airport. You can take the hotel's bus but it is expensive. Or you must take the MTR to airport, it is also very expensive, too. The cheapest way is to take MTR to Mong Kok first and transfer to take the bus "A21". I think that is the only inconvenient thing during my trip.

It's location is very good because it is near by the MTR.

About the room, it is OK, but I booked a double room and I got it. But it has two single beds, I thought there would be a double bed.

Highly recommended for overseas visitors staying for a short time sightseeing and shopping. Close to MTR and public transportation. Good eating places in the vicinity. Good service. Staff are helpful and well mannered. Room is spacious, better than many hotels of same pricing which I stayed in the past. Probably will stay in this same hotel next time.

A21 airport bus takes you to the hotel front so is extremely convenient. Also close to the MTR and bus stops. The room is surprising spacious given the location and the price. Clean and tidy and new. Plenty of cheap and good eating places in the vicinity and close to famous shopping streets.

Poor facilities in the room. Not even coffee bags and coffee mate and sugar. Room facing main street can be quite noisy from the outside traffic even higher up in the 8th floor. Going to the airport can be tricky if not by taxi. A21 to the airport takes a different route and is not realistic to get to the bus stop if you have a lot of luggages.

I like the location particularly the airport bus A21 will take you directly to the hotel front entrance. It is close to all public transports including MTR which is only about 2 minutes walk. Also there are plenty of small restaurants and cafe shops which open long hours and are cheap but of good qualities.

Close to Mongkok railway station, about 10 minutes walk and is extremely convenient for me to attend conferences in the PWH hospital, Shatin, and for that matter going sightseeing in the New Territories. Close to MTR and one stop away from all the famous streets such as Apliu street for electronics and ladies' market.

Traffic noises can get into the room even higher up. Some rooms do not have safes but you can put your valuables in the safes in next to the reception.

Hotel is centrally located. Easily accessible by MTR and buses round the clock and friendly customer service. Room looks little old but well maintained, room has only one electric power outlet which makes it difficult to charge your phone and camera at the same time.

The Metropark Mongkok Hotel located in a very good location. It just about 1 min walking distant away from the MTR station. There is a bus stop just beside the hotel. There are buses going to the Airport, Train station and even some big cities of China. The best thing is, there are many restaurants around the surrounding area which food tasted so good and reasonable priced.

The location of the Hotel is very good. The service people is very nice.

Their bed is a bit too hard.

I come here for second time.The staff gave me a not corner deluxe room as before and look like superior type.I went down to change and felt a bit unhappy.I got an old furnished corner deluxe room at last,it's OK and I'll come back again next time.

Good location, very closed to Prince Edward station. Large room for deluxe type even quite old and will be much better if renovate.

Nice location. Hotel is very well located in the middle of Kowloon Island. Subway just 1 min by walk from hotel, bus station at the entrance of the Lobby, and China Travel Agency just next to the hotel building. Night market just a few steps and a lots of restauants where you can enjoy differents sort of cantonese specialities. Rooms are comfortable but a little bit old fashioned. Staff are efficient and very polite. Very convienent location in Hong Kong Since you are always missing time in this city.

Very nice stay, hotel is very convenient. Airport access is very easy and sbway station is 1 min by walk. At the entrance of the hotel, China travel agency can provide any destination you want to go (bus station at the same location). Just at the corner of the street, restaurants serve you 24/7. Staff are very efficient and polite. Hotel is a little bit old and lifts are always busy. Rooms are clean and room service very effective. All around the hotel, many night markets can provide you any chinese manufacture you are looking for. Hotel is very well located, in the center of Kowloon.
