It was easy for me and my husband because it was nearby the place for our business appointment. It was a no hassle stay though some occupants are insensitive on letting the door bang loudly or talking and shouting along the small corridor. Good for a short stay but not advisable for long stay because of the other occupants unless you are not there for the whole day.

The Cityview Room offers a view of the streets and roads above the hotel towards the mountains. In a sense, modest people will feel like other people can look back, with so many windows in Hong Kong, but they'd need pretty good binoculars to do so. Otherwise, if you're going to sit with your curtains dropped, then there is less reason to have such a commanding view. The price is slightly higher for this convenience, and it doesn't change the size of the room--although my sink moved from the toilet area into the shower area, which was a little more weird.
The room is basically sealed, with no way to open the windows, etc. So it's a sealed environment. I'm not too good with air conditioning, but this was preferable to Hong Kong smog. You have the option to control the strength of airflow and the temperature up to 30 Celsius. (Whenever I'd return from a day out, I found the staff had reset the room to a much colder 15 Celsius.) The bathroom works to control it's humidity with a small fan above the toilet, so keeping that glass door shut helps.
When transferring rooms, as I chose this room during my weekend stay, it as easy and quick. They also hold your bags if your room is not yet ready. The waiting area is nicely designed with an artistic feel to it. You even get WiFi for both the waiting area and your own room.
Regardless, you will face hills or stairs whichever direction you go from the hotel, so keep this in mind. It can leave you breathless taking the most direct route.
Shopping Tip:
Most retail stores close around 8 p.m (for smaller boutiques) to 10 p.m. for larger chains. The IFC Mall is nearby, but across some land-bridges and escalators. You can wander and be surprised how many streets offer so many different shopping options. You will find grocery and convenience stores mixed in as well. The best way to access this area is from the Central Station, I generally used the Ice House Street exit.

The cheaper price comes with a small room, but it's got everything. The location is very nice, immidiate shopping after going downstairs to Central within 5 mins. Right beside where the night clubs are also. Very nice choice for people who don't spend much time in the room.
