The AV amenities and ample cable points.
No complimentary in-room wifi.
What prompted me to try this hotel was the recommendations/pictures from the website. However, when I checked-in, I was given a tiny room that was not renovated (the hotel recommendations mentioned that it was renovated but not partly-renovated). So I was a little surprised. The front desk staff was not very helpful as he mentioned that if I wanted something else, I had to upgrade at an additional cost. It seemed to me as though it's a mispresentation of the recommendation or even gimmick for guests to pay extra to get what they initially thought they would get but didn't get. I was quite unhappy and requested for a change of room, any room as I was also feeling uncomfortable in that room. Of course, I didn't get the new room on the same day as I was told the wasn't any rooms available. When I returned to the room that night, I found one of the corner supports of the bed faulty, leaving the bed loup-sided. The staff on duty went to check and temporarily settled the faulty support.
Next day, I did get a free upgrade to the new room that was newly renovated. The room was great and the amenities are fabulous. I must say that the additional speakers and the mp3 adaptors were nice. I could play my ipod via the speakers while working in the room. The only setback is that there is no free wifi in the room. Most places and hotels are giving it free already so I think this nice hotel should considering doing so too. Although the first night was not so pleasant, overall experience with this hotel in the new room was good. I will still recommend this hotel to people who wants a comfortable hotel stay with a good location and a little peace within the buzz of the city.
Travel tip : Nice local food cafes around the hotel.

The service is very good.
I travel to Hongkong every month and have stayed in many hotels before but I can tell that Nathan is the best that I have ever tried. The staff is very helpful and the room is spacious and very modern, I stay in Nathan Grand Suite and feel that it's worth my money. Please try and you will find no regret. I will definitely come back again.
Travel tip : It is very near to Mtr and a lot of good restaurants near by.

Helpful hotel staff, especially onsite "Splendid Tour & Travel Ltd." Good location.
No free PC in lobby. Minimum $50 HKD for 1 hour usage, although they did let me use it for free for a few minutes to check my flight status and important email.
For the price that I paid for the rooms this was an excellent bargain. Although the rooms are on the small side it was comfortable enough for our needs, clean and tidy. Temple Street Night Market is only 2 blocks away and the Jordan MTR station 3 blocks. Hotel provides 2 free bottles of water daily which was a great help since we were there during the hot season.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Great Buddah statue on Lantau Island.
Of course, "The Peak."

The New Nathan room was great, decent size room & bathroom with a 42" LCD tv
staff at check in could of smiled a little and general manners were lacking
The check in was fast but the staffs need to be more friendly and at least try and make a fake smile instead of that moody look. Rooms was great better than Eaton across the street in terms of size and overall decor of the Nathan room and amenities. Breakfast was ok but felt i was being hurried as the restaurant is kind of small and with other patrons waiting. Overall i would stay in this hotel again for the location and nice room but the staff attitude is a let down.

Clean and Comfortable
Good amenities and great locationfor shopaholics
The hotel is very near to major shopping area and there is a mini mart just below the hotel. The hotel staff allow us to buy food up to the hotel room as the room service end pretty early. This is one of the down side for the people who enjoy order food from the hotel. I was staying at the Nathan floor so it is pretty small but great amenities. I will say this is a good hotel for people who is looking for not so high price accomodation.
Restaurant Tip : Get some food from the 7-11 downstair as there is no room service after 11pm.

We booked a Nathan Room. nice decoration, especially the bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. Tasty buffet breakfast. The location is really good. Nice and friendly staff
Too cold air con, especially the lobby's wash room, freezing.
We arrived at Hongkong Intl Airport quite early, around 10am, took a bus to Nathan Road and got to Nathan Hotel at around 12. Remember to drop at A21 bus stop at 348 Nathan Road. Actually, it's in front of a shop named Outlette. Luckily, our room was already available. We booked a Nathan Room. nice decoration, especially the bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. We also enjoyed the complementary internet and breakfast. Indeed, the breakfast is really good and tasty, not like other hotels. The location is really good. It's between Jordan and Yau Ma Tei MTR station, but nearer to Jordan. It's very convenient if you have a lot of shopping from Mongkok and want to drop them at the hotel, then do some more shopping at Tsim Sha Tsui or Central. The staff is really nice and helpful. Just remember to tip the doorman if he help with your luggage. On our departure day, our flight was at 8pm. We checked out early and do some more shopping. It's really nice that they allow us to use the gym's bathroom at 6th floor to have a shower and change clothes before we leave. 4 days staying at Nathan Hotel was amazing and we will definitely come back here for our next trip.

Fast Re-assignment of an incorrect booking.
Close to the Night Markets.
Great Air-conditioning
Solid service. English speaking.
The bar at the hotel is expensive.
This was our 3rd time in Hong Kong and the Nathan Hotel is by far the nicest hotel we have stayed in, for similar room rates.
The staff were friendly and efficient, just what you need after a long flight.
We also booked the incorrect dates for our stopover and Agoda and the hotel sorted out the mistake with a minimum amount of fuss, got us into our room with in 20 minutes.
Great hotel would recommend it to anyone.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Night Markets and the Temple street crab and noodle eating is great. Don't go before approx 9pm at night.

Very modern, clean room,
Nice LCD TV,
Cold Air-con.
The room was very modern and clean and had a very large LCD TV, very cold air-con, and free wireless internet.
The location of the hotel is just a few blocks walk from the Jordan MTR station, and really close to a few local food and pastry shops plus a 7-11 literally right outside the hotel door on your right.
Overall it's an excellent value for the money for staying over on the Kowloon-side of HK.
Hotel Feature Tip : You need to take a right out of the hotel door, down to the stopsign, and take another right if you plan to walk to the Jordan MTR.
You will avoid the folks selling bags and watches on Nathan Rd. if you do this - saving yourself some time!

The hotel is located in Nathan Road and within walkable distance to Jordan MTR station. If you are Starbucks fans, there is a Starbucks just in the first floor of the hotel. The hotel is kinda old and the lift is slow. Toilet flush is slow as well. Overall, it is ok for the price we get from Agoda.

This Hotel is very easy to travel around shopping streets and walk 3 mins to jordan mtr station. you can walk ten mins to Ladies Market in Monkok. There is Starbucks in the hotel. Mc Donald is in the opposite side of the Nathan road. For me it is very easy to travel to any places in downtown kowloon. You can walk to the Star ferry about 20-30 mins. I think that this hotel is not expensive and I will stay at Nathan hotel again.

The location is great! Close to the Jordon MTR Station(underground train)and the famous Temple Street night market.
The rooms are a bit small, but so are most of the other reasonably priced hotel rooms in Hong Kong!
The Nathan Hotel is good value for your money. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, since you're minutes away from the Jordon MTR Station and the Temple Street Night Bazaar. If your room includes breakfast, the buffet provides a good start to your day!
Restaurant Tip : The Temple Street Night Bazaar has some outdoor eating venues that offer an assortment of fresh foods to choose from (meats & seafood), at bargain prices.

Good price and location in the Nathan Road area
Lack of place for cheap food
I was first time in this hotel. I enjoy the stay there. Clean and comfortable. Staff are courteous. Price is very reasonable and most of all it is in the centre of city and shopping area. Room is clean. No smell. I will continue to stay when I visit Hong Kong again. Jordan MTR station just a stone's throw away and the Airport Express bus pick up is just in front of the hotel.

Super location in Kowloon. Nice, clean and very comfortable beds. Great price on AGODA.
Stayed here 5 nights. Great hotel, clean and two short blocks to MTR or Temple Street Market. Stayed across the street at the Eaton on my last trip and was disappointed in the staff. The Nathan is a perfect place to stay in Kowloon and I will surely stay there the next time I return to Hong Kong.
Restaurant Tip : Eat on Temple Street two short blocks away. Food is cooked fresh and the atmosphere is fun.
