decoration - minimalist style
newly renovated hotel
shower is great!
big plasma also!
one of the best location - near MTR and airport bus station
Front office staffs weak in English
USP for this hotel is location. situated near MTR jordan as well as airport bus stop is right in front of hotel. you can save money by no need to spend for taxi at all.
Room rate is reasonable for product you will get. Room and hotel is clean and new because they just renovated them all. Big Plasma say from 42''. Next time i will stay at this hotel.
Nightlife Tip : Temple street is just cross the road from this hotel. fresh seafood can be found there. must try!

Convenience location for shopping,night market,
Customer service is a bit poor. the reception stuff wasn't very helpful.
We stayed 2 nights at Nathan hotel for short stop over, the hotel situated very convenience location, very easy to access everywhere. the Jordon MTR is near by, but unfortunately the reception customer service wasn't the best. however, We did enjoy our stay in nathan hotel.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room.
This is the second time my husband and I stayed at the Nathan Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located at Nathan road with many restaurants and shopping areas nearby, Starbucks around the corner, McDonalds and a night market across the street, and a Seven Eleven shop and a money changer place next door. The room is a little small but very clean. The staff is friendly as well. We will definitely come back to this place.

The staff was very nice and cheerful. Upon checking in, we were unexpectedly upgraded from a "Superior" room to a "Nathan Junior Suite". This was a very nice room with a sitting area separated from the sleeping area by a partition/closet partial wall. This certainly allowed for more freedom of movement, and there was plenty of hanging closet space with two closets available.
We requested a non-smoking floor and felt our floor area was free of lingering smoke orders.
If you like coffee, there is a Starbuck's Coffee Shop in the hotel lobby area.
The tour desk staff in the lobby was also very helpful and arranged an all-day tour for us to Macau late the night before the tour.
The breakfast buffet was a bit lacking compared to hotels we have stayed in before in Hong Kong, even though the price was a bit less. We chose this option only once for breakfast dining.
There are only two elevators, which can cause a bit of a wait.
The suite had some storage shelf space behind closed doors but only four tiny drawers in the sitting area closet. Sorry, but Americans prefer drawers.
The walls are a bit thin; if there are noisy children next door, as we had, it can be a bit distracting.
A humorous problem: the rectangular shaped toilet bowl/seat was a bit uncomfortable, but we managed.
I would stay at the Nathan Hotel again if ever in Hong Kong. It was very clean and had amenities such as a nice work-out gym. The bathroom is quite ample for a hotel where sight-seeing is your goal. The tub/shower worked well and the vanity was spacious and well-supplied with toiletry items. Again, it is centrally located on the Kowloon side of the harbor for some shopping and close enough to transportation options to get to the Tsim Sha Tsui District or Hong Kong Island very easily.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is well located for walking tours and shopping. The jade market and night market are less than five minutes away. The Jordan MTR Station is also convenient.
Upon arrival by air, we took the Airport Express Train to Kowloon Station, and then we used the Free Airport Express Shuttle Bus K-1 from Kowloon Train Station to the hotel. (Get off the K-1 Bus at the Eaton Hotel stop which is on a side street between the Eaton Hotel and the Nathan Hotel.) Another tip: the front door of the hotel faces this side street, not Nathan Road.

- Big room for HK standard (most HK hotels have small rooms).
- Free internet access for executive room.
- Between major shopping areas.
- Clean room.
- Amenities daily replenished.
- Polite staff.
- If you are staying NEXT to the lift, you will hear its movement, thus ask for one AWAY from the lift.
- No shaving kit provided.
This is my 2nd time at Nathan Hotel and again, I like it. The price is reasonable for HK hotel rates.
Shopping Tip : Nathan Hotel is along Nathan Road and very near major shopping areas of TST and Mongkok. You will be able to get to Jordan station very quickly if you need a MTR. Bus to and fro airport is available at walking distance.

The best thing about the Nathan Hotel, apart from it being easily recognised/understood, by those taxi drivers with little knowledge of English,is its location.Basically, its in Jordan, further up Nathan Road, but is a great position if you want the famous ladies street, and the night market.....where you can buy all the latest designer "knock-offs".
The rooms are typically slightly small Hong Kong size, but more than compensated by the softness and comfort of the bed.......!With only one socket for the tv, you,ll need to ring reception for an extension lead for your laptop.Oh, and take some extra sachets of coffee or tea..you only get 2 of each, and rather too small cups to drink from!
My wife and I have stayed here before. The reception service is always good, and the hotel in a very good location for our needs. Its not as plush as others, but for the price is ok .A lot of foreign guests seem to stay here, maybe its the Starbucks adjoining the lobby, great for the early morning shot of caffeine to get you going for the day!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visited the Space Museum,at bottom of Nathan Road, but the multiplex cinema is closed until March for renovations.....a pity, because wanted to go so much......

The Nathan grand room is a large room.
We booked a Nathan grand room but the hotel gave us a Nathan room, we had to discuss for a long time before they gave us a real Nathan grand room.
The hotel is nice and clean. Not noisy and well situated in the Nathan road if you want to buy electronic things. The staff of the hotel is sympathetic even if we got into some troubles when we arrived. We booked a Nathan grand room but the hotel gave us a Nathan room, we had to discuss for a long time before they gave us a real Nathan grand room. The breakfast was really good , many things to eat (occidental and Chinese) .
Good place to stay even if I think the hotel is a little bit expensive.

Bali Bar on the 14th floor needs some work. music etc. Breakfast cost is HK$98
Nathan Hotel is a cheap hotel that is above average. It offers great value for money. The staff guides tourists where to find what using vicinity map.The hotel is nice and clean with great staff. Just a 5 min walk to the sub. Overall it was an awesome week and a great place to to stay!!!

newly renovated\nclose to MTR\n
a little noisy due to directly on Nathan Road
This hotel has newly renovated rooms. The bathroom is clean and furniture in good condition. The room size is fine and the MTR station Jordan is close by. Starbucks is downstairs, but the hotel next door offers a nice coffe shop in the basement. A little bit difficult to find some breakfast opportunities outside of the hotel. The next Cafe de Coral or Yoshinoya is about 10 minutes walk away. The Nathan Road is noisy all the time which is the major disadvantage
Shopping Tip : Nightmarket on Temple Street close by

The excellent service and friendly staff, were a stand out feature for us. We felt comfortable and found everyone very helpful and efficient.
A very nice, well appointed clean hotel, that is staffed by friendly efficient staff. The facilities were excellent and the rooms clean and modern. The location was easy access and we found the shuttle bus service to the rail station very good. Every 15 mins. I would definitely stay at the Nathan again.
Best regards
Ross
Travel tip : I had a massage two doors down from the hotel, which was nice.

Receptionists are so good, they upgraded our booked room. Hotel is very accessible to places by bus.
1 Hotel elevator has a screen that is so distracted and eye sore.
Nathan Hotel is a cheap hotel with amenities that are above average. It offers great value for money. The staff guides tourists where to find what using vicinity maps. The room is big and comfortable enough, feather pillows are so good.
Nightlife Tip : Nathan Hotel is very near the night market. It's almost just across the street!

Nathan Hotel is along Nathan Road, 4 blocks away from MTR but cheap bus ride and taxi is very accessible. Hotel staff is assists with places. Hotel is clean, practically good space for a reasonable cost. Staff will even make a good deal of HK $280 taxi to airport if you prefer that vs MTR.
Bali Bar on the 14th floor is too small, no band, just music. Breakfast cost is HK$98 vs fast food and authentic Chinese food just located nearby.
Nathan Hotel is a practical choice for a 4star hotel.
Shopping Tip : Ask the concierge what bus number to take you wherever, its cheaper vs taxi and less tiresome vs MTR. Just prepare coins or an octopus card.
