Trying Hard
Lovely buildings, Traditional style
6
The Hotel was ideally placed for our stay in the West country but a lot of work was going on inside at the time. Our bathroom was running with condensation due to a lack of ventilation, the fire door in the passage outside was noisy, the bath very slippery - many things combined to mar our enjoyment. The staff were helpful and cheerful, though.
Shopping Tip:
Nearby shopping is excellent, covering all tastes and needs

Not Disappointed
Proximity to Shops, MRT, Restaurants - everything!
8
Good location, friendly staff, spotless rooms, and a sensible day rate for a family needing two rooms. The calm attentiveness of the Chinese Gentleman organising the staff and patrons in the restaurant at breakfast was a pleasure. There was plenty to eat for two growing teenagers. This hotel doesn't claim to be the best in HK, but it is very good at the standard it sets itself. I'll be back!
Shopping Tip:
Opposite the hotel is Yue Hwa Chinese products. Don't stay on the ground floor but find your way to the top and work down through all the levels of surprises!

good location, near MRT ,shopping, restaurant and night market, the room was OK, the staff was friendly and the service was very good. We stay for 2 nights and have nothing to complain. The size of the room is rather small for the price but again for Hong Kong hotel's room are all this way. Overall the hotel was a good one and we will return should we visit Hong Kong again

First Time in HK
near metro, walking distance to some attractions on Kowloon side, helpful and attentive staff
8
Overall it was a great hotel with attentive, friendly and helpful staff. The location is decent for sightseeing on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong however, the real shopping and nightlife is on the opposite side of the harbour; accessible by ferry or subway (use Jordan station). There was a great small local restaurant around the corner and a Starbuck's attached to the hotel lobby. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection of Western and local cuisine. However, for more trendy restaurants try SOHO!
Shopping Tip:
The outlet malls offer great bargains.

Nathan Hotel Hong Kong
spacious room for 3 adults(suite), clean, 2 big LCD tv, receptionist that can speak english
7.3
Nathan Hotel is not a bad choice if can afford to pay the cost, but as for me Eaton suite will be better than Nathan hotel. Eaton is just next to it. But again it only apply to the suite room, i never stay at other rooms so can't comment for it. I get to access to lounge for use of internet which i can't get in nathan hotel
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
you ma tei mt is the nearest station, starbucks just next to lobby.

Nathan Hotel
Location
Attentative staff

The location of the Nathan Hotel is great. Located on the Kowloon side it is close to shopping areas and Jordan MTR station is just a short walk away.
The staff were helpful and attentative. We did ask for an early check in but actually had to wait for quite some time but were given a room upgrade as a result.
The room was nice and spacious with 3 beds. Bathroom was excellent. The only downside was that the internet was not free although at the same time not expensive.
