Excellent & Honest Service from ALL Staff at Nathan.Clean, Comfortable & well equipt rooms including gym, Starbucks, Business centre & good food.Close to great shopping, MTR & Central Business only 15 by MTR. Really comfortable beds & pillows second to none.I upgraded my room at little extra cost & left a family heirloom in my old room.It was found & returned to me within 5 min before I even knew it was missing.I highly recommend this hotel in every way.

My Girlfriend and I stayed at Nathan Hotel for 3 nights. We booked the summer executive room promotion so we got free internet access in our room and late check-out until 2pm which was great! We took A21 bus from the airport and it took us about 30-45 min to get to the hotel and the bus stop is just right there in front of our hotel. (If you will stay at this hotel, I would recommend you to go by bus than by MTR since you will have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs and walk to the hotel.) Nathan Hotel is located in a good area, it took us only 3-5 min. walk from the hotel to Jordan MTR Station which is only 2 blocks away. You can also walk from the hotel to Tsim Sha Tsui, Harbour City, Victoria Harbour and Mong Kok and you will find lots of shopping places on the way there. The night market is on the other side of the road, just cross the road and you will find it along with many good eating places. Well, it was our first time at this hotel and we found it a very nice place to be in HK. The room has a good size for HK hotels, it’s a lot bigger than other hotels I have stayed before. We had plenty of space to lay our luggages and our shopping bags. The hotel is very clean, the bed was neatly made and the new fresh towels were replaced in the bathroom for us everyday. The wardrobe is well-designed so it doesn’t fill up the room space. It has enough space and hangings for our clothes. Inside the wardrobe is a safe box which you can easily fix your own code, very convenient. On the bedside desk, you will find an electronic controller which you can easily control the air-condition’s temperature and fan, all room lights, radio and TV. I have read from other reviews for Nathan Hotel that the room is dark but my girlfriend and I didn’t find the same problem in our room. Our room had a stand light, a table light, two bed lights (left & right), a night light (a very soft light from the top of the bed) and a corridor light.

- Near MTR (Jordan Station), Night Market and surrounded by many eating and shopping places - Walking distance to Tsim Sha Tsui, Harbour City and Victoria Harbour

Nothing to complain.. :)

  • Travel tip : Buy OCTOPUS Card before you leave the airport. You can use this card to pay for bus fee, tram fee, The Peak Tram fee (don’t have to queue up and wait to buy the ticket) and many other places do accept this card as well. It’s very convenient and no need to use cash. You can easily top up your card credit by using the automatic machine in any MTR stations.

We secure our room thru agoda website, thou the price is reasonable, however, when we arrived, the hotel could not provide a queen size bed promptly and a smoking room as requested. Therefore, we had to wait for about 2 hours at the lobby and in the end we manage to provide us a queen size bed room but non smoking room. It was quite disappointing at with the first impression, moreover, the bath tub and the toilt bowl is faulty.

nice cable tv channels, wireless avilable in our room

long check in time, we waited for 2 more hours til we can check in, unable to provide us with our request, lousy toilet and bath tub facilities

not too bad Guest Rating: 2.8

The Asst Manager David Chan was very helpful. One the 1st Night, I was not able to sleep due to some unforeseen incident. Early next morning called the reception requesting for change of room and Mr. David Chan came up to my room in 5mins to have my room changed. I was surprised that he have my room changed to high floor and very comfortable room which was brightly lighted, air-con working perfectly and the room was very spacious. I will definitely checked-in to Nathan Hotel for my pending trip to Hongkong.

Newly renovated and near MTR stn, shopping and eating place

The room's that was assigned to me was badly lighted, air-con very noise and not cool. Room are not properly cleaned

So..So for the economy hotel Guest Rating: 2.5

The hotel place in the good location (on Nathan road), however, it's quite far from the MTR station (if you come by MTR with many luggage it may trouble you, I take about 10-15 minutes to walk form Jordan station to the Hotel). The hotel is quite clean and confortable, however, the room is quite small for the executive room (My room was at the corner place beside to the fire exit, so i'm not sure whether other executives room may bigger than mine). The staffs' service is not so imppressive, as they rarely smile and didnt give me good advise for traveling but the staff at the travelling center is quite good!! She's friendly and tried to suggest many good places for visiting. If you are seeking an economy hotel near the shopping area, Nathan may be one of your choices other than the the staffs' service and the room size.

Good Location.

The room is too small.

Second time I've stayed here and they upgraded my room free of charge. Room has excellent connectivity, both ethernet and wireless, plus a handy multinational adapter. Massive flatscreen TV, DVD with ipod adapter. Perfect for the wired traveller. Staff are also very helpful and courteous. Breath of fresh air in HK.

  • Shopping Tip : Handy to the Temple Market and Kowloon shopping. Had one of the best (and most painful) massages in my life in the shop two doors up. Took me two days to get over the bruising but was worth it!

Go for a hotel near the fashion street more north on Nathan road , more nightlife and easier to go around.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the bus to go around.
