Friendly service, central location, Nathan rooms are new and nice
Free Internet
Breakfast could be better, view from room is not nice
Nathan hotel is rather small hotel which I prefer. Staff is really attentive. I have stayed at this hotel several times now and always stayed on Nathan floor. The rooms are luxerious, comfortable and internet is included. The view of the rooms is not nice, but other than that I would say this hotel offers good value for money.

Great location near lots of eatery, shopping, Temple Street and MTR
Can give the buffet breakfast a miss.
A very pleasurable stay in Nathan Hotel. Friendly and informatics counter staff so as the bellboy. He helped us with the luggage to the nearest bus stop and waited with us at the free airport express shuttle bus just to load our luggage.
We booked Nathan room but were given free upgrade to Nathan grand as I was with my baby so need a bigger room for bb cot. Room is big and clean. Room services very prompt to replenish the toiletries.
Great location near lots of eatery, shopping, Temple Street and MTR. Must try out the dim sum restaurant next to the hotel. Cheap and quality dim sum.
Restaurant Tip : Very reasonable and good quality dim sum next to the hotel (A Chinese restarant near Starbug cafe)

Location in the heart of the main shopping area.
Rooms are big, spacious and clean (we stay in the Nathan Grand rooms).
Modern facilities in room.
Friendly service from check-in to check-out.
Toiletries were promptly replenished everyday.
Wireless WIFI were problem-free.
Reasonable price for such a big room.
Assistance were prompt without any long wait when we encountered problem with the room safe.
Bell staff were extremely helpful and helped me with my huge and heavy bags to the bus stand.
Breakfast would be better. The food was below par.
Safe takes more work than most hotel safe due to the way it was installed.
We stayed at the Nathan Grand rooms and were very impressed with the size of the room, considering it was in the heart of the shopping area at the reasonable price that we got. Service were excellent from the moment we stepped into the hotel till the moment we checked out of the hotel. WE really appreciate the attentive staff with our shopping bags when we returned to the hotel each day after a long day out shopping.
We loved the modern decor, as the hotel was recently remodeled, especially the bathroom. I love the shower, especially the built-in gap in the wall for soap, shampoo and conditioner with enough space for other toiletries. The shower was perfectly built that water do not spill out, keeping the bathroom dry at all times. The bathroom also have a lot of built-in shelf for toiletries bag. We also like having a DVD machine in the room, so that we can try out DVD that we bought during our stay. We also found having electrical adapter available in the room extremely convenient. And the complimentary shopping bag in the room extremely useful and most thoughtful by the management.
However, more effort should be put into the quality of the food for breakfast. I would like to see an improvement on the hotel directory with more detail on the description of the facilities in the hotel.
I would definitely return and use this hotel again and would definitely recommend it to my families and friends, especially the Nathan Grand rooms.
Restaurant Tip : The restaurant across from the hotel for dim sum. It is on the second floor of a huge building.

Bigger Rooms vs similarly priced hotels
Friendly Staff
Very near MTR stations
We've stayed several times in HK in the past. For the price, Nathan beats other similarly priced hotels in the Kowloon Area. The staff is very helpful and mindful of any of our queries. We were a big group and they still managed to please everyone. The rooms are bigger than most hotels we've stayed in Mongkok/TST area in the past. Location is very near the MTR station and lots of shopping and food options in the area.
Restaurant Tip : there is a restaurant a few meters down the street - the name i think its 'tsui wah' or something... it could be a good 'default' dining place when you get tired of the shopping/walking or finding a place to eat. they have relatively decent menu.

Close to transportation, the night market, and many eateries. Helpful employees. Nicely remodelded.
Overpriced, even with the discount here. Small rooms (and we were upgraded).
Helpful, friendly employees that spoke decent English. Room was small even to HK standards, and we were upgraded to the second best room (hate to see the lesser room). Close to many things, and good transportation all around.

near MTR station,eateries,shopping
-the check in and check out staff is not professional.we have to wait quite long time.
-internet service is very expensinve.in my point of view.
i have gone to hongkong for several times and stayed in the hotel near nathan and tsim sha tsui.this hotel location is good..near MTR station
eateries, shopping.we didnt find any difficulties to go around.there is a starbucks outlet in the lobby..and across the street is wing on shopping centre.the thing is quite annoying is about the check in and check out staff.its very slow and unprofessional.when check in time,we have to wait for 30 minutes without any explanation.and when check out time about 20 minutes.i think the hotel management has to train the staff more often.
Shopping Tip : wing on shopping centre across the street.ladies and temple street market about 7 minutes walk.jade market about 10 minutes walk.

Near MRT, Good Shopping Area, Conveniently located
I have gone to Hong Kong many times and have stayed near Nathan Hotel. This time around I decided to give it a try. Room is big, clean and modern. Reasonable room rate. Did not go for the breakfast package , as I sleep in late. Only problem with the hotel is the service or lack of service. Staff are not that helpful and friendly. Called for wake up call to go to airport- never bother to call. Checking out -staff were not professional in handling people.Need major improvement in customer service. Will still go back for the room and surrounding area.
Shopping Tip : Near Temple Street night market and Ladies Market

Location is good. Price is ok and affordable. Place is clean.
Have to pay for Internet use.
The best feature About this hotel is that it is in a great location on Nathan Road. I can go to tsim tsa tsui or mong kok by walking. The subway is also very convient that it is only about 5 minutes walk both way to yau ma di and Jordan. The price is affordable and not too expensive. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is also good too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very close to mong kok where clothings and electronic are price competive.

Location
Slightly larger than usual rooms
Reception area was small and very crowded
What a surprise to check into the Nathan Hotel and discover a large room when I wasn't even given the Executive/Nathan floor! I understand this is due to the hotel being slightly older and though the amenities do not look brand new (there was a small crackline in the bathroom sink), they are acceptable compared to the space which is such a luxury in Hong Kong. The location is just 10-15 minutes walk away from the main shopping part of Nathan Road which is convenient. In the area around the hotel, the shops are mainly jewellery and Chinese medical halls. Bali Bar on the 16th floor is a delightful refuge from the city. It is secluded and cosy, perfect for enjoying drinks after a hard day's work.

Location which is close to underground, restaurants and shops
Nathan Hotel is ideal for business travellers. The closest underground station is just about 2 blocks away and very convenient to travel all over Hong Kong instead of getting stuck in traffic in a taxi. The many restaurants and small eateries around the hotel spoil you for choice when it comes to typical Hong Kong food. Just a street away (on Saigon St) is a tiny shop that has been selling congee for 45 years. The congee served is the perfect consistency and there are so many varieties that you have to go back more than once.

Quiet, well furnished and designed interior, Nathan Room is excellent mix of luxury and value
Location is just alright, not all staff speak good English, most do, not super cheap
Was in town for two nights, enjoyed the Nathan Room with a good deal through Agoda, really nice big TV and good breakfast. Other food was just alright, I'd recommend eating out. Staff friendly and pretty helpful. Gave me directions whenever I asked, also told me where/how to buy a local phone card. Room might be a tad expensive without a discount, normally a bit out of my price range for solo travel. Really comfortable, though. Recommended.

Located in close proximity to shopping, subway, markets and tons of food places. Everything is easily accessible. The staff is friendly, and extremely helpful. Decent b'fast buffet. Internet access included via WiFi and ethernet cable. Rooms clean, and roomy.
WiFi was weak in my room, but addressed by plugging in to hardwired ethernet; not really a hotel problem, but bring appropriate a/c adapters to support UK plugs -- hotel staff were trying to accommodate, but were out of them.
The NATHAN HOTEL has definitely earned repeat business from me.
Centrally located in the heart of Kowloon, right on Nathan Road (Duh!), it sits right within walking distance of the Jordan subway stations, several night markets, and tons of shopping along Nathan Road.
The hotel (which I guess was newly renovated) is very pleasant looking, the staff is polite, friendly, and always willing to assist and help, and the rooms are spacious and clean.
Internet availability is a necessity for me, and the NATHAN HOTEL delivered -- both WiFi and a connected ethernet port in the room. WiFi in my room was a little bit weak, and the provided ethernet cable in the room was badly mangled, but staff provided me with a new one in minutes, which worked well and fast. No annoying login or authentication screens -- just plug in and you are online.
The NATHAN HOTEL provides some great value for the money - if you are traveling through Hong Kong, be sure to check it out.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Head over to the Temple Street night market, and seek out Temple Street Spicy Crab - some of the best seafood I have eaten in a long time, if not ever.
