The location is great! Close to the Jordon MTR Station(underground train)and the famous Temple Street night market.

The rooms are a bit small, but so are most of the other reasonably priced hotel rooms in Hong Kong!

The Nathan Hotel is good value for your money. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, since you're minutes away from the Jordon MTR Station and the Temple Street Night Bazaar. If your room includes breakfast, the buffet provides a good start to your day!

Restaurant Tip : The Temple Street Night Bazaar has some outdoor eating venues that offer an assortment of fresh foods to choose from (meats & seafood), at bargain prices.

Super location in Kowloon. Nice, clean and very comfortable beds. Great price on AGODA.

Stayed here 5 nights. Great hotel, clean and two short blocks to MTR or Temple Street Market. Stayed across the street at the Eaton on my last trip and was disappointed in the staff. The Nathan is a perfect place to stay in Kowloon and I will surely stay there the next time I return to Hong Kong.

Restaurant Tip : Eat on Temple Street two short blocks away. Food is cooked fresh and the atmosphere is fun.

Gym and the lounge area, nice place to chill out without being in your room. Staff were very helpful and everything was exceptionally clean.

Gym could do with a little improvement, i.e remove the massage chair!

The hotel was very good and I would stay here again. The staff made you feel very welcome and would do anything to assist you with travel advice or any other info you needed. The breakfast which was included was extremely nice and very plentiful. The lounge area with internet, free juice and coffee and an area to read magazines and the daily papers gives you an opportunity to relax in an area that isn't your room. Finally the location couldn't be any better, with Nathan Road on your doorstep and an MTR station no more than 5 mins walk away.

Nightlife Tip : Plenty of bars and resturants at Knutsford Steps about 15 min walk away.

location

Room size and house keeping

Overall a good hotel, great location, near to Jordan MTR. Easy to find food, a popular restaurant known as DAOXIANG just beside Hotel. The only problem is that the room is very small and the house keeping is bad. The House keeping dropped my sleep wear on the carpet and didn't bother to pick it up. They also didn't do a good job in cleaning the bathroom.

Good location & decor. Hotel provides good service and very helpful staff. Room is nice and clean.

Need to pay for deposit upon check in.

Hotel has good location near Jordan MTR, temple street is just across the road with many small cafes specialized local food. Great hotel staff especially the bell boy who gave many recommendations about local places and food, and they speak fluent english. The room is cosy and clean. We booked an executive room with King bed. Bathroom has bath tub and we are very satisfied statying in Nathan Hotel. Will definitely stay the same place next time.

Restaurant Tip : Go to temple street just across the road to try the HKD10 wanton noodles.

next to the airport shuttle bus stop

None

This is a fantastic hotel, staffs are extremely polite and helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and they are still in the process of refurbishing the rooms and make them more comfortable. The location is perfect for tourists who want to use the free shuttle bus to and from the Kowloon airport express train station. It is also close to the Jordan and Yaumatei MTR.

Restaurant Tip : this hotel has a very good chinese yum cha restaurant.

Location, accomodating staff, room size and cleanliness, nice gym

No swimming pool, the ground floor elevator area smells bad

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is very near an Airport Express shuttle stop and a bus stop. It is also a five-minute walk to the Jordan MTR station. If you want to go shopping, it is around three streets away from the Temple Street Night Market and it is also near Jade Market. There are also plenty of electronic and jewelry shops along Nathan Road. In terms of dining, the breakfast buffet was average in terms of taste and the food choices were rather limited. But the Starbucks on the ground floor is pretty convenient for a quick and cheap drink and meal. There's also a Chinese restaurant in the next building that serves good and cheap food and there's a McDonald's across Nathan Road. Regarding facilities, our executive room was spacious and clean. I loved the compact and complete gym. The staff were nice and accomodating. A staff who speaks good English is always assigned at the entrance/exit to help guests about their itinerary and how to get there.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It's cheaper to get around through the MTR.

Good Location, check-in was fast and the hotel staff friendly and helpful.

My stay at the hotel was a good experience and the hotel staff assisted us to locate certain food locations like famous restaurants in Hong Kong such as Yung Kee Restaurant and a famous wanton noodle restaurant in Hong Kong. The hotel is very near the subway which made our stay in Hong Kong wonderful. At another time when we could not locate the Victoria peak the hotel staff again assisted us with the direction to the tram station.Generally there were a lot of good food restaurants around the hotel.I would like to stay in the hotel if I visit Hong Kong the next time.

Restaurant Tip : There were a few restaurants just minutes from the hotel and they open till quite late. You definitely will not get hungry even late at night.

Comfortable and well appointed Hotel close to Bus and Underground Transport. Good friendly Staff.

Lack of Electric Plugs

The Nathan Hotel is well located on Nathan Road near shops, restaurants and the Night Market. A five minute bus journey up Nathan Road takes you large outside markets. A five minute Bus journey down Nathan Road takes you to Shopping Malls, a restaurant/bar area called Knutsford Steps and many many shops.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Bus Stop outside has many buses every 5 minutes going everywhere.

clean, modern, good location, friendly staff and great value for money

None

i think this is the best value for money in hong kong, where nice hotels are expensive and cheaper hotels are shabby. this one is newly furbished, so clean and comfortable, yet a very good price... i guess because it is just outside of the main tsim sha tsui area. however it is right near a metro (jordan rd) which takes you to Tsim Sha tsui in one stop), or alternatively to the electronics area of Mong Kok in 2 stops. plus the night market is just 5 minutes walk away.

Shopping Tip : the temple street night market is just a short walk from the hotel (ask the front desk for directions). and the ladies market (mong kok) is just 2 stops away on the metro (the hotel is near the jordan stop). plus there is a post office just a little further along nathan rd if you have bought too many things and need to ship some stuff home,

The Nathan floor was newly renovated, the rooms were beautiful furnished and designed. The nathan floor also included free wifi and buffet breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful.

the elevators are slow, so it takes for ever to get to your room or up to breakfast on a busy day.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Nathan Hotel. The Nathan floor was beautifully furnished, decorated, and included free wifi and buffet breakfast. There were two large flat screens to enjoy tv and movies on. The staff was extremely helpful and I couldn’t pick just one to nominate for employee of the month. My room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or return myself some day.

Roomy, friendly staff

Room availability

My stay in Nathan was in the month of April (the peak season). The double bed room was very roomy comparing to other hotels in Hong Kong. The staff promised to switch my room for the next day and it was done; they even care to bring the dessert that we left in the frige to our new room. The rooms look relatively new. The hotel is few blocks away from the train station and local street market. Overall, it was a good experience w/ a decent price.
