Staff was seldom available, especially in the Morning. But if you caught one of them they were very friendly and helpful.
Overall considering the price its a good deal for staying in Hongkong.

Best location at a budget
Budget, friendly staff, very good location (close to ferry habour and eating places)
8.3
the staff who attended to me are from africa but that does not stop them from speaking english and providing good service. the building is located 5 mins away from tsim sha tsui mtr, very good location. the ground floor is packed with shops selling all kinds of stuff but getting up to the hostel is a 10min wait for the lift which is slow and small.
cons - poor wifi in-room (almost non existent), toilet had a slight stale stench
pros - bed linen is clean. towels provided.
despite the above, i paid about sgd for 1 night for a double bed. found it value for money as i only require minimal.
Restaurant Tip:
You may find Middle eastern, indian and Halal food at the small eateries at ground level.

Great Location - best in town for me
7.7
I took a bus from the airport, the bus stops 50 meters from the building. This is as good as can be.
I went to China with luggage, I used the escalator to the subway. It is great when using public transit
The room is small, clean and has bathroom in the room. Comfortable and can have a restful sleep.
I stayed in the same room on my return trip
Great value!

sufficient, inexpensive place to stay in HK
small private room w bathroom. hot water and cheap!
8.7
the building is admittedly sketchy, it was nice to have my own room w a window, tv, air con, bathroom w hot water. the room was small but ok by HK standards. the only bad thing was that in the middle of the night someone below me was cooking ALL night and morning. the smell was very strong spices that i could not identify. needless to say, it was NOT roses and perfume. other than the smell, and some very loud latenight conversation that was happening somewhere nearby, everything was fine. bed was comfortable enough, location of guesthouse is great, and you get your own little space. i would stay again, but might consider a guest house on a higher floor, to avoid the smells.
