We booked 3 nights but we slept only 2 night at this place, the room was really small and were smelling after curry. But the staff were always friendly and helpfully the helped us to organize the china Visa within 24 hours. This is definitely not a place to stay with kids.

Great Location but scary environment

the place is really traceable since it is located within the shopping arera and accessible to all transportation. although, people around seems so scary since we were not used to seeing these nationalities (africans/hindus) personally, but only in the news. the way going up the specific receiving area is really tough since the elevator is at all times jampack and you get to ride the lift almost the 4th trip going up everyday. the building seems to be old. the room is kind of small and untidy. heater is provided but seems to be not working at times which made us worry because it was cold when we stayed in hong kong. caretakers were accommodating to your needs but the linens were kind of soiled/unclean. wifi is always available that we can download our pictures that fast as soon as we get to the place.
Travel tip:
the place is just right for the price. if you need only a place to sleep in at hong kong then this is the place to stay at a lower price compared to hotels. but if you are bringing children then you should opt to stay at the hotels.

The hotel room is very small and not so comfortable bed. There lots of hawkers down the hotel, a bit noisy when you enter the building premises because of the many stores, mostly Indian selling their wares. Lots of money changers. Outside of the hotel are various boutiques selling branded/ signature items. Kowloon Park and BP International Hotel is just nearby. About 15 minutes bus ride to Mongkok or ladies market.

One thing I like about this hotel is that it is very near near to a MTR Station and also it is near the shopping center of hongkong

the place we stayed in was very nice, although the room was not that big, because we only need the room to rest in the night, since we are out during daytime. the staff/helper was very accommodating. they had the best wi-fi connection. if you are on a tight budget, only need a room to sleep in, i recommend this place. just be sure to be at the reception of the hotel exactly at their check-in time
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the place we stay in very accessible to place like avenue of stars, the ladies market, shopping malls (SOHO, H&M, etc).

Awful smell along the chungking mansion

They called me and gave me a great deal.For the stay ,It was'nt the place i expected.
Location is good for shoppers.Rooms are very small not for family with children.Receptionist was very nice.The place before going to elevator it sucks! Did'nt expect indians all over the place very dirty and smells awful. I think they have to renovate the place. 48 hrs of going up and down because of 1 elevator for the floor. It's like you're in the cubicle when you enter the room. Not a really good stay and i don't think i'll stay again sorry
