The good thing about this hotel is that it is just 2-minutes from the MTR station.
Little away from the shopping centers and other good malls like those in central and casuawybay.
Not bad for the price, I stayed about 3 nights and although the room was small (similar to many in Hong Kong) it was very quite and clean. I forgot my tie in the room and when I asked after two days, I found it there, I asked them to ship it and they did.
Hotel Feature Tip : For the Internet it is good that you take the 1-week charge if you are going to stay more than two nights, the charge per day is high compared to a one week charge.

The hotel is centrally located, and is easily accessible via public transportation, both to nearby shopping centers, and to and from the airport via airport bus, which is the cheapest means of transportation. Public transportation is just 1/2 block away.
Shopping Tip : easily accessible to nearby shopping center

The hotel is very clean, and is centrally located.
The hotel is very clean, and the service is great. One best thing about the location, it's very accessible, you can take almost every means of public transportation and is centrally located. One best thing is that you can take the airport bus by walking only 1/2 block to the bus stop. It's cheap, and more conveniently than taking a taxi to the airport train and then board on to the train.
Restaurant Tip : There are a lot of restaurant in every budget around the hotel, and some of them open at 6:00 am which is good if you are jet lag.

Location is less than a minute from a subway station. Many local restaurants, shops, etc nearby.
Reception helpful. Great view of Kowloon and the harbour.
Gym in the building opposite and closed on Sundays.
Bathroom a bit small.
Pool closed during winter.
The hotel was very easy to find. There is a supermarket nearby for provisions as well as a 7/11 and 2 Starbucks. Very vibrant area.
The hotel staff spoke reasonably good English and were helpful. Decor was fine. The room had everything you would expect, though it could have had more English channels on the TV (only found two). Have to pay for Internet and the business centre prices are extortionate and must be avoided, but with the nearby Starbucks offering 20 minutes free Internet (as long as your a customer), it can be avoided easily.
Would stay again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Symphony of Lights - Every evening at 8.00. A free lights/laser show where some of the buildings in Hong Kong Island and Kowloon are lit up for 15 minutes. The view from Kowloon overlooking Hong Kong island is the better of the two.

The guest room is of reasonable size, but clean and has a good ocean view and view of the Kowloon if stay on the north side of the hotel; close proximity to restaurants, shopping and a MTR station.
Bathroom is a little tight to move around.
The hotel is in a central location on Electric Road, North Point, with close proximity to shops, restaurants and transportation including an MTR station. The guest room is clean and of reasonable size. We found that the staff are friendly and helpful. We would choose this hotel again during our next visit to Hong Kong. Book it in advance to choose guest rooms on the north side of the hotel to get a good view of the ocean and Kowloon on a clear day!

Very clean and close to the MTR station
The Newton hotel was very close to the MTR station and local eating. It is a bit of a commute to go out for night life in causeway, Wan Chai, and Central, but not really. The room was very nice but it was very small and cozy. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a mellow trip in HK, but if you are looking to go out a lot to night markets and night life then I suggest other areas.

1 minute walk to the station, good location.
Elevator button needs some fix, you have to press hard. The room is clean, but lacks comfort.
Good choice if you have business near North Point. Hotel is actually 1 min. walk from the subway station. Located on the main road, so if you have time, you can enjoy the tram. There is a small local bar just around the corner, which you can enjoy.

Honestly, there isn't any hotel shuttle provided for places like Causeway Bay etc. You will need to take your own taxi or MTR if you are planning to go to these places. However, there is a MTR station "Fortress Hill" just behind the hotel.

Had a great time overall but you will have to eat out because there is no restaurant within hotel.
Nightlife Tip : You will have to travel on train 10mins for night life. Only found one small pub close by, but it did show all the English Premiership games live.
