I visited Hong Kong for the fourth time when staying for 1 night in Novotel Century hotel. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The location is just on 5 minutes walking distance to the bar area. Everything apart from the room needs to be paid extra, like breakfast, Internet etc. The costs for these facilities are relatively high. The hotel is good, as well as it's location, but the price performance ratio is average.

getting to the hotel is a breeze from the airport and took me approximately 40 mins. checking in at the business floor level was quick and efficient. the staff were efficient and always had a smile. a draw back was the size of the room...swinging a cat would have been a problem ! likewise the bath steam extractor system did not function adequately. Overall, it was a good expoerience

-Not a lot of eating establishments in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
I chose this hotel for the location, and it was great. Wanchai MTR was a 5 minute walk away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ended up doing an upgrade to a premier room, which was worth the extra money. With that I got a room on the highest floor, unlimited wired internet access in the room, late check-out until 4pm, breakfast, and free cocktails in the evening. I'm not sure how much bigger the room was than the regular rooms, though. The room was smallish, but I was fine with it. The shower was great.
