Great location but small room

Good Location but small room.. will be a plus point if the hotel did make some special arrangement for us cause it's our honeymoon trip as indicated during the reservation of hotel..
Shopping Tip:
City Gate Outlet Mall a must to visit.

Good hotel, good location, value for money but
The hotel is good, the rooms are expensive but good

as a business traveller, i am looking at a few simple items when staying at a hotel:
1) cleanliness 2) location 3) room size 4) internet 5) service 6) cost
i've stayed at the novotel kowloon before and have been happy there - so far.
a couple of things i highly suggest to change:
1) accor hotel gold members (i have spent a lot of money with accor) should have automatically free internet access. charging hk$ per day for internet access is theft if you consider that you can get mobile data of up to 500mb with pccw for just hk$28 a day.
2) if accor promises upgrades for gold members they should do it! again this time the novotel kowloon didn't do. and there was room available. not happy.
3) there is no room where you can change after you have checked out. i had meetings in the morning and left the luggage at the novotel. upon return i wanted to change into a more "flight suitable attire" but was told to use the toilet for handicapped. usually not an issue but this one was small, dirty and i blocked the toilet for at least 10 minutes because it was so small. a hotel like the novotel should have facilities for changing.
i hope someone will read this. the hotel is good, the rooms are expensive but good, the staff is friendly, the location is awesome but the above points really should be looked at.

Nice hotel and the location if very good.

The hotel is nicely done; the room size and fixtures are good for business traveler. I believe the location and the comfort provided for stopover is just great for business travelers.

The hotel itself is nice and charming. Good location. Shuttle service is Continent for one-night transit guest.
I spent an half day to adventure the stores and restaurants in the building. It's an amazing place. I found a lot of attractive Asian food and enjoy the huge outlets.

Room is pretty small.
10mins from HKIA. City gate outlet shopping.

Check in service very bad. Slow! Lobby also small for such a hotel charging approx. S$+ per night is too high. Not up to standard.

The mall had a huge food court with many different desserts. Downstairs, there was a connection to the MTR station. It was very convenient to hop on the MTR to travel around Hong Kong. The first night we had a standard night and the second night we had booked a supreme room. They upgraded me for free to give me a supreme room for both nights. There was also a shuttle bus back to the airport.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We took the hotel shuttle bus to the airport and from there we went on a minibus shuttle to Shenzhen. There was a transfer that we were unaware of us. It cost 4x the money from Hong Hom to Shenzhen vs taking the MTR. They were driving fast, on the cell phone and not paying attention to safety. I would not recommend the bus route to anyone.

My family had a great stay in Novotel Citygate. It has an access to the Citygate Outlet bringing shopping closer to our doorstep. It is 2 train station away from Disneyland so we had shorter distance and time going there to tour my baby around. Finally, the service did not end when we checked out because a shuttle bus brought us to the airport

excellent hardware in the toilet room and in the shower room, very comfortable bedding, room; convenient location in a shopping mall, free shuttle service to airport every 15 minutes.
but the ethernet and wifi in the room cost money. in the front lobby area you may log in the wifi for 20 minutes free of charge. there is also no bathtub.
the hotel charge is more expansive than before. usd$+ per night.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walking distance to the subway station (MTR), also to all types of stores, factory outlets, and restaurants in the same shopping mall. Walking distance to the 360 degree cable car station to goto see the big Buddha statue building on the 大屿山 mountain.

the negative thing is the check in process . it really took us so long. frontdesk officer is helpful but other desk officers keepnon bugging her. getting our keys when we upgraded to premier is also the same scenario.
Shopping Tip:
citygate outlet stores are the best.

Nice convenience airport Hotel
good location for stopping over travelers in HKG

I have stayed here for a few times and like to convenience of being by the airport. The downside is no free wi-fi!! They claim to provide it in the lobby but is difficult to get connection. The staffs wasn't too helpful about freebies.
Shopping Tip:
The outlet mall is great if you plan to have last-minute shopping and have spaces in your luggages. Plan ahead for extra time at the mall hours.
