Very nice decoration

Not quite close to MTR

Novotel Nathan Road Hong Kong is one of the very nice hotels with a very reasonable price. Nice decoration and hip. Very nice service of staff, reception, and bell boys. However, it is not quite close to MTR. 5 mins walk is needed. When shopping is an objective, the distance is matter.

New modern interior and rooms. The Airport Citybus stop just in front of the hotel.

Not much to explore around the hotel. You need to ride the MTR either to Tsim Tsa Tsue or Mongkok.

Novotel Nathan Hotel is a newly renovated hotel which use to be Majestic. It is clean and cozy. The Interior Lobby, Restaurant has a modern touch. They are now offering until June 30,2009, 2 person for the price on one lunch buffet at HK$168 + 10% Service charge. (2 person pays only HK$184). The location is in Jordan area about 5 minutes walk to the MTR station. There are not much shops around the hotel so you either go 2 MTR stop to Mongkok or 1 MTR stop to Tsim Tsa Tsue to catch the action. The extrance to the hotel is in Saigon steet not Nathan.

Restaurant Tip : Hotel offer 2 person for the price of 1 buffet until June 30,2009

A comfortable hotel with many on-site restaurants

No longer opposite The Canton Fair Exhibition Halls.

I have stayed at The Dong Fang Hotel many times over the last 5 years and have never been disappointed. This Hotel is big with comfortable spacious rooms and well appointed bathrooms. Everything about the hotel is of a high standard. The food in the restaurants is excellent and all the staff are attentive.

Hotel Feature Tip : Get down early to ensure a seat on the complimentary bus to the New Exhibition Halls.

new , stylish and very near shopping place

smelly pillow

I like hotel location and its decoration. It is new and modern. The room not so small. Big and comfort shower. You can walk to shopping area. Also, very near MTR station, only 2 min walk. The staffs are all nice. But, I had very bad experience on very unpleasant smell pillows and bed sheets. Like hotel maid may leave their sweat on them somehow.

Restaurant Tip : congee opposite the hotel tasted so good. They speak Thai, easy for Thai people.

The hotel staffs are very friendly. The hotel was clean with modern design and comfortable.

The actual location was a bit misleading. The access of internet was on prepaid basis. Most hotel in the world now provide them as part of the room convenience for all guest.

The location of the hotel was in Saigon Street with Nathan Road as part of the building location. The hotel was close to restaurant, convenient store and even money changer. The hotel design was cosy and modern which also a great selling point. The price we pay was justify with the room being spacious and well equipped.

Travel tip : Please tell the taxi driver or coach that your hotel is located at saigon street instead of nathan road.the hotel is 348 nathan road but baring in ming that nathan road is very long.

Clean, comfortable, near to MTR station and shopping centres.

A little bit small, breakfast not included.

Clean, comfortable enough, the door is directly on Nathan road, only seven minutes walk to Jordan MTR station, two stations away to Tung Choi Street (a.k.a Ladies Market) and one station away to Tsim Sha Tsui Station (next to Avenue of The Star, Space Museum, etc). Easy to get to the most popular shopping arcade in Kowloon. The room is a little bit small for four of us (me, my wife, with two kids 9 yrs and 3 years old) plus our two large size luggages, but probably bigger than average hotels in Kowloon. Breakfast not included.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't miss Symphony of light at Avenue of the Stars every 8 PM, only one station away from the nearest MTR station (Jordan) with Novotel.

An excellent hotel in a very central area. Guest Rating: 9

Friendly staff, comfortable room, great shower experience.

Since breakfast was not included, we found the hotel restaurant on the expensive side.

Upon checking in we were immediately upgraded from a standard to a premium room with king size bed on the top floor with a view of the city. Although the room and bathroom are small they are modern, tastefully designed, clean and fully functional. My husband raved about my choice of hotel which is located in a great shopping area and walking distance to the subway system (MTR).

Shopping Tip : Avoid shopping for electronics near hotel. There is a special street in Mongkok for good deals and only 2 MTR stops away.

Location Updated Modern Look

Our room was below the top floor lounge so we could hear some noise in the morning from chairs moving and people walking around. The soap tray in shower was too small to hold all the soaps and conditioners.

Had a comfortable stay at the Nathan Novotel. Check in and check out was quick. The room was updated and had a nice modern feel. For Hong Kong the room was a fair size. The washroom had a good rain shower and was well designed. There was large flat screen TV and the bed was comfortable. We received two bottles of water daily and there was a bar refrigerator to keep our food cold. The room was also clean. We did not get chance to eat at the restaurants at this hotel.

Travel tip : Public bus A21 will take you to and from the within walking distance to the hotel. Approximate time will be 45 minutes depending on traffic. There is luggage storage in the front of the bus.

the hotel is in HK and just off nathat road. Good shopping with in walking distance. Taxis always near by. the hotel was just re-done.

hard to find, on a side street, small rooms, dark colored rooms

Novotel Nathan Road Kowloon Hotel Hong Kong is located 20 miutes from the river. The hotel is located on a side street which makes it hard to find. There is a sign situated on Nathan Road, but difficult to see. The rooms are small but most HK hotels have small rooms. The rooms have be redone recently and have all emenities. The internet comes at a charge per 24 hour period, but thats the norm of HK. The rooms are well equipped with flat screens and comfy beds. The staff speaks english well and is somewhat helpful. Overall for the price the hotel is just ok, there are cheaper and better hotels in the city.

Travel tip : always bring a copy of the address of the hotel, because you might miss this one. There is a starbucks near the hotel to use as a point of memory.

Walking Distance from MTR. 3 Choices of Pillows. Affordable in-room Internet.

Restaurant closes pretty early. I would recommend to eat out, if you want a late dinner.

Honestly speaking, it was one of the nicest sleeps I had in my trips. The moment I step inside the bed, I don't know whether I was so tired, or the Bed was one of the nicest I ever slept on. Nice and clean room. The Hotel, brand new, was really nice welcoming, with nice amenities in the room. Nice Digital Sony Plasma TV in-room (not every hotel has this feature!). Concierge Staff very nice and polite. Always ready to answer every question. I will definitely will stay at the NOVOTEL Nathan Road again (This was my third time there!) Wish you a pleasant stay as I had!!!

The hotel in approximately a 4-5 minutes walk from the Jordan MTR station. Exit B1 is the direction that you will need to go out of. There are many electronic shops nearby so you can purchase cameras etc. There are also many restaurants and pubs nearby.

Restaurant Tip : Behing the hotel on the same block is a very traditional restaurant called Tai Ping Koon. It has Chinese and western style food but most famous is their Swiss Style Sauce Chicken Wings and Noodles! Fantastic!!

None that I could find

Unfriendly staff and management.

The staff and management were very unfriendly and were not helpful at all. For an international hotel in an international city the service was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is best to choose a Chinese/Cantonese hotel where you will get better service at a much better price.
