Hotel location is just great. There is no worry about meals.All the hong kong food can be found just across the street. Shopping for local items is also not an issue. Everything is just around the corner. Subway is just within 5 mins walking distance.

the good things about the hotel is that it's located near MTR, and opposite 7-Eleven. when we walk into the hotel, it smells nice and has clean feel to it. but as we enter the corridor to our room, it looks quite abandoned, as it is dark and gloomy, with mouldy looking carpet.
the room is ok, although it's small and dark. our biggest dissapointment is the bathroom which smells unpleasant. it actually smells of Chlorine, but it also reminds me of dirty laundry which I never find in any other hotel before. the smells is really overpowering that it is quite unbearable. we don't bother to ask for other room, as we were very tired and wanted to rest.
for the hotel that is not cheap, we actually expect more from it.

WAS IT A FOUR STAR HOTEL?
Novotel kept my two kids from being bored, they would rather stay in the family corner playing and reading story books. It is a few blocks away from the shopping area.

It was as if we were in a four star hotel. The amenities were sufficient enough for our needs. My kids had a great time in the family corner located in the reception area. The internet was fast. The hotel itself is clean, just don't bother it's surrounding establishments. Fact, the water from the faucet is potable.
