Small Yet Cozy
Away from the bustling touristy center (ladies market area), less congestion. Therefore can find more reasonably priced restaurants which frequents by the locals. Though away from the touristy center, they are still within walking distance. 5-10 minutes walk to Prince Edward MTR, 10-15 minutes walk to Ladies market area. Pretty convenient. Room wise, though small, it is clean & cozy.
8.3
Found the hotel easily using the map. Exit from C2 at Prince Edward MTR Station and walk on straight. 10 minutes walk at the most.
The hotel is made out of two shoplots. The lobby is small and crampy but tastefully decorated. Our standard room is really small but I guess all hotel rooms in HK are small. At least this is value for money and we only need a place to sleep in. So it was alright. There was not much room to move around. It was basically fitted with a double bed with no extra leg space at the end of the bed (wall-to-wall) and a bedside desk. As we open the door to our room, there is a tiny bath on our left and clothes hangers on our right. Walk 4 steps on and there is our bed already. Hahaha.... Again, though small, the quality of the interior was pretty ok. It was clean, new and nice. Advantage of a small room, everything is within reach. Hehehe
For Europeans, it would be advisable to get a superior of bigger room instead of Standard ones. At least slightly more space to move about.
Travel tip:
Feel free to venture around it. There are lots of small little eateries with very reasonable prices. The only downside is, the menu are all written in Chinese. You can just point to the picture or ask the waiter for explanation. :) Have fun!

Narrow room, narrow corridor.. Helpful staff.. Small toilet.. It was not too bad except if those travelling with big luggage would have a problem..

Oriental Lander Hotel in Prince Edward MTR
It is clean and pricing are the lowest among all hotels.
6.7
The room is rather small but in term of pricing is the cheapest among the others. But location is too far away from MTR which is not convenient.
I may considered paying abit more to get good location - just 2min walk from MTR.
Restaurant Tip:
5min walk can get 茶餐廳, Dim Sum... average taste and cheap in term of pricing.

Very good value for money, very clean and well run hotel, farly centra but not too central, walking distance from most of supermarkets, we certainely recommend it to our friends and we are planning to return to stay there during our next planned visit to Hong Kong in the future when the construction is completed it will even more pleasant to stay there but probably the accomodation costs will increase

No Street Sign...!! I could not find the hotel where I was only around the corner. SO I called a taxi to get there. then end up spending extra HK$50。TO find THE HOTEL.THEN the reception staff was ok, but the most disappointing is that our hotel room WAS very small. Good that we only stay there 1 night ..!! There wwasnt a clothing carbinet at all. just a few coat-hanger found next to the Dressing mirrior.

Normal service, normal room
Near to central shopping area

Although the hotel is near to Prince Edward MTR line station, the space within the hotel room is too small. Having said that, the room is so-so, room service is quite well done. Most of the receptionists are helpful and able to settle the things i wanted to do, or advise us what places or transport we can take.
Shopping Tip:
Near to Price Edward MTR and walking distance to the Temple Street for shopping

Reasonable Price & Great Location Hotel
Great location - near to mtr and food stalls. Hotel services are parallel to the price charged.

This hotel is strategic. It is located near to mtr. Take mtr to Prince Edward and exit from C2. Walk straight and when you notice Mongkok Fire Station right in front of you, turn right. The hotel is few steps from there. Services provided are OK. However, the lift seems not functioning at its best! It broke down in the morning and happened again when I get back at night. The hotel needs to improve on this as they only have 1 lift. Overall, might consider to stay here again for my next trip.
