rooms are small, with beds pressed right against the wall. i found the one pillow to be too flat, but i just folded it for neck support. the bathroom was small too, and we all thought the toilet was tricky to flush but we just had to press real hard, and quick.
i was bummed to find that they did not offer free wifi, but i was not in dire need of it. their shuttle bbus runs every hour to the glamorous shopping district tsim sha tsui. by our requests, they also dropped us of at ladies' market, and the ferry (to macau). you also schedule a time to be picked up; this saved us so much cab money!
the shops connected to the building were convenient, though many didn't open until 11am (we are early-risers). many eateries nearby that served tasty means for cheap, and at super-speedy service.
in conclusion, we were pleased with our stay. the entire staff was very friendly and professional, and we were satisfied with our rooms. i would recommend panda hotel to anybody heading to hong kong.

myself and my two children booked this reservation only a couple of days in advance. the hotel itself while very nice inside. the only cons that i have about the hotel was the extra charge for a cot. maybe this is typical in hong kong, i do not know, but in the usa i know that most hotels do not charge for cots. the main reason for my trip was to disneyland, but we also wanted to check out the kowloon area. the panda hotel was pretty much centraly located between the 2, about 20-30 minutes by public transportation/cab to either area. overall a positive stay.

in terms of amenities, the hotel is above average. but the staff is not friendly, especially the receptionist named "rody". at one instance, i called up the reception desk to ask if my reservation includes breakfast. ms. rody was quick to hang up and told me she's busy attending to check-in clients that she could not answer my inquiry. also, when we were checking in, she did not seem accommodating enough to answer my basic questions like if there's an available hotel service going to hk disneyland.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel has no foreign exchange counter that accepts Philippine Peso. Better bring HK dollars before travel.

Lovely hotel and service very good

stayed here as it was close to my meeting place. rooms are small (but that's normal in hk) but it was really clean, so no complaints! there are also a lot of different transport options, and the hotel provides a free shuttle service too. staff were courteous and efficient too - check-in / checkout was fast and without any problems.

Comfortable and enjoyable. Wonderful time roaming around the area nearby with plenty to see and shop.
Travel tip:
spent time roaming around the district,many shop and shopping centre, visit the wet market.

although it is a bit far from the city, it is quite convenient to go to the town by mtr. the hotel is not very "good looking" but it is clean.

Good Location but poor service
Good Location, close to MTR and you can find everything you need around the hotel

1) Has many different restaurant and shops that you need near the hotel
2) close to MTR
Cons:
1) Front desk staff has poor attitude
2) Staffs in general are not friendly
3) The room in general is quite noisy (noise coming from either the hallway or next door)

room is clean, renovation work during my stay, no water supply at the morning for a day. no free wifi. shuttle bus need to book in advance.
