- close to everything
- only 10mins walk to MTR station
- good size room
- staff not very helpful
- thin wall
- entrance a bit hidden
This is not the first stay in HKG for me and my family, we have tried many diff hotels. Park isn't the most brillant or great, however the location is prefect for chic's shopping. There's many street fashion/local price shop's around this area. Food, cafe, 7/11, dinners, jap, thai, viet, etc EVERYWHERE. From the MTR to the hotel is a good 10-20mins walk however along the way there's an endless supply of stores and shops for all ages. You'll always manage to buy something before you head back to your room. If you're not a good control of shopping, pls choose another hotel cost this one will empty out your wallet. Good Luck ^_^

Location, Food, Shopping, Transport
Under refurbishment, so service not that great at check-in.
Hotel is centrally located in TST. Walking distance for shopping, dining, MTR and entertainment. The rooms are big [ by HK standard], clean and modern. Shuttle bus to Airport express right in front of hotel. So literally door-to-door check-in ! Shopping belt is about 80 m away from hotel and there are food outlets along either side of hotel and opens till late.
Hotel Feature Tip : Airport Express Shuttle Service is right in front of hotel. Making check-in effortless.

Room is spacious enough (Compare with HKG standard). Room are new decorate with good quality and in good condition. Staffs are efficient, friendly and speak well English.
The decoration on first floor yet not finish. Even though it not bother me, but it would be perfect 10! if the hotel could complete it.
This is my 3rd stay with Park Hotel in Hong Kong. Though I have quite a few stay with Park Hotel chained in S'pore. They provide a good room condition and freindly staffs. I have tried stay with chained-hotel nearby (intention not named) at almost same rate but was disappointed with decent room, small room and low quality amenity kit. I would recommend anyone visit Hongkong stay here and book thru Agoda.
PS: There are few times that booking hotel thru Agoda and I've room upgraded from hotels. I never got any room upgrade from any other web-booking at all.

Reception area a bit cramped, due to refurbishment
Was warned the refurb was still ongoing but apart from the temporary reception desk on the fourth floor and the entrance to the hotel being a work in progress, all was well and once on a floor with rooms you'd never know there was a refurb going on. Clean, tidy, decent value breakfast etc.

The best features of the hotel are
1.The room is very spacious.
2. Location is central and convenient
Hotel is still under renovation, causing some inconvenience.Once is finished, believe is my choice hotel
Park Hotel overall is a recommendable hotel to firends. As I mention in the aforesaid, the price is very reasonable. The staffs are firendly. The size of the room is very spacious. I have stayed several hotels in Hongkong and find most of them the room size is very small. Not only that the location of the hotel is very convenient. You can do your shopping within distance. Transportations for minbuses, buses and subways stations are all wintin walking distance. The only drawback for now is it is still renovation. I believe, once this is finished,it should be a affordable and comfortable hotel to stay with.

clean and spacious room
excellent location
They are extending one of the wings and is currently going thru some renovation.
The rooms are really big and clean. Location is fantastic as it's so close to all the major shopping centre and is right above the train station. However don't expect 5-star service.
They are polite but will still need some time to develop standards that are world-class
Shopping Tip : Plenty of shopping is just around the corner. And if you are hungry at night, don't fret! There are stores that open till 2am in the night!

Park Hotel delights a causal visitor to Hong Kong. Situated sl close to everything exciting and vibrant, it allures travellers with the sight & sound of the famous City. MTR (Metro) is easy to access, just 3-5 mins walks from the hotel. I personally like its interior decoration, the lobby is well done. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bath is well equipped. Staff are very courteous and responsive to needs.
The hotel is still un-going renovation since 2 years ago. wondering why it hadn't complete faster? Apart from this minor inconvenience, its a place to stay. Should also include an indoor pool & gym.
Park Hotel rooms are spacious and of high standards. Its clean and tidy with comfort of a 5 star hotel. Rate are reasonable and service is one of the best in town. I rate it as best family hotel in Kowloon.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you are a shopperholic and would like to experience the harbourfont yet stay close to great shopping malls, this is the place to stay.

Best Value compared to other HK hotels, All rooms Newly Renovated, Rooms Size larger than other HK hotels I've stayed at (USA size), and Clean!
Still undergoing renovation, but that's about it.
I definitely recommend this hotel to all travelers - business and leisure. I've stayed at several hotels in HK over the past 6 years and this is the best value as far as price, room size, great location in Tsim Tsa Tsui and nice newly renovated rooms!
Shopping Tip : Lots of shopping nearby and close to train

Good size newly renovated room,
Clean and modern Bathroom, Efficient Staff
A bit of a walk from Nathan Road (but not a problem to me), Hotel lobby is under renovation (again, no big deal).
Spent days picking the right hotel for our stay and was extremely pleased with Park Hotel. After staying at some hotels in TST with tired looking rooms, we wanted somewhere refreshing for this trip and Park hotel lived up to our expectations. The rooms are newly renovated and spacious compared to Novotel Nathan or Kowloon Hotel and well equipped with all in-room amenities. Loved the shower, the water pressure was good. The mattress was a little too soft for my liking but had a restful sleep nonetheless.
The staff at the lobby was very professional and offered help when needed. Check-in and check-out were swiftly done. Location is perfect for us cos we like a bit of a walk. Only 2-3 mins from the main Nathan Road and convenient stores are along the way so you wont have any trouble grabbing bottles of water for your stay.
I highly recommend Park Hotel and will definitely stay there again next time!

Close to many restaurants, Star Ferry etc.
Expensive internet in the "lobby", smell of humidity in the hallway
We enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel and appreciated the courteous staff. It rained the whole time we were in HK, so this may account for the smell right outside the elevator once you got to your floor. However, the room did not smell and as it rains quite a bit there, this may be a normal occurence. We had an issue with the console that controls the lights, alarm and AC etc. but an engineer came by and fixed it wihin 5 minutes and we did not have any problems after that. There were great restaurants around the hotel and the population is so dense in Kowloon that I was able to piggy back on someone's wi-fi, so the internet was no longer an issue. We would definitely stay there again.

Updated rooms, quite nice.
The quality of the food at the buffet has slipped, not worth the cost.
I have stayed at the Park many times, it is my favorite hotel in Hong Kong due to the convenient location and the low rates. They've been updating it for several years now, and appear to be almost done. If they keep the rates low, I'll continue to stay there. The buffet is very attractive, but the quality of the food has slipped. It is no longer a bargain, even with the preffered rate that guests receive.
Restaurant Tip : One block away is a Delifrance restaurant for quick, inexpensive light meals. One Mody Rd, a pub called Sticky Fingers has good ribs at a good price. The light show over the harbor at 8:00 is worth the short walk to the shore. Go to the walk of fame.

Location, cleanness, helpful and good spirited staff, good value for money
Not very important but the entrance renovation not quite finished yet, no liquor in the mini bar
Park Hotel is an excellent choice for Hong Kong visitors who pay their stay themselves. Lowest category rooms are maybe a bit small but free upgrading easy. Park Hotel is very clean. It's location is perfect in the heart of Kowloon and the neighbourhood lively but not too crowded. Bus and underground/metro stations are very near and harbour promenade facing Hong Kong island fantastic skyline just two minutes walk away. Good choice of food available near ranging from simple soup noodle joints to gourmet restaurants. The staff recommends willingly and is generally very friendly.
Restaurant Tip : Go dine at King's Lodge just around corner!

Excelent room for the price, very quiet and comfortable.
The staff were always friendly and attentive
The reception area was still under reconstruction but this will be sorted out.
The hotel is still in the process of reconstructing but this had little affect regarding the quiet and comfort of the room. Our room was real value for money and the staff were at all times friendly and helpful.
The location is very good and within walking distance of all shops restaurants and the Star Ferry.
Considering that the Swine Flue was still a problem the staff were very professional when on a daily basis they took tempratures etc. I would certainly stay there again.
Restaurant Tip : Just 100m away on Chatham Road is a small cafe which is excellent for a cheap breakfast and English language papers
