This hotel offer exceptional location. The Jordan subway station immediately below the hotel will allow you to be anywhere in Hong Kong in no time at all. Additionally it is well located relative to the Kowloon Airport Express station and is well served by the free shuttle bus that runs from the Kowloon station to nearby the hotel. Dining opportunities within the hotel are very limited but there is any amount of choice just oytside the door on bustling Nathan Rd. and surrounds.

My stay at the Pruduential Hotel, Hong Kong

I recently stayed at the Prudential, a first time for me. The hotel had been recommended to me as good value for money and in a good location. Both of these aspects were true. By far the best feature of the location was the fact that it was on top of an MTR station. With Hong Kong having such a fabulous transport system it certainly made it very quick and easy to move around. The hotel seemed busy - always a good sign! I appreciated the courteous staff and would recommend the Prudential to other travellers.
Shopping Tip:
There is good shopping in Nathan Road and always lots of activity.

Prudential is a very comfortable hotel with an excellent location - Jordan MTR is just below the hotel. Some great food to recommend - Mak Mun Kay Wanton Mee (exit at Bowring Street of Jordan MTR station, walk straight and turn right at the first alley you see. You'll be able to catch the eatery after walking past a few shops.) There is also a Cha Chan Theng (Cafe) on the left side of Mak Mun Kay. It's called Australian Dairy company or something like that. They serve great set meals at HKD 25, consist of toast, scrambled eggs, marcaroni and tea. The only thing is the waiters there are very fast paced, so you have to order really quickly.
Shopping Tip:
If you are a young shopper, you can try shopping at Mongkok Argyle Centre (located @ Exit D of Mongkok MTR station) The clothes there are really cheap, though most are targeted at the younger shoppers. If you are looking for work wear, you should be able to sieve out cardigans/blazers and decent dresses if you are patient enough to visit every shop. Unfortunately, there is nothing for the guys at Argyle Centre. For guys, you can visit a place called Hollywood Shopping Centre for formal wear (From the entrance of Argyle Centre, turn right and walk straight, cross the traffic light, keep walking straight and look out for the shopping place on the left) and Chic Shopping Centre for casual wear(about 5 min away from Hollywood Shopping Centre, but it's on the right side of the walkway near KFC).

This hotel is ideally located above Jordan MTR station. 5 min walk to Temple street (Exit from the hotel turn right and cross the traffic light, walk further up and cross another traffic light and walk straight where you can find eateries) where you can find a lot of food like seafood, porridge, dessert etc.
Shopping Tip:
For last minute shopping, go to Citygate Outlets locate at Tung Chung MTR station (very near to the airport) where they sell branded stuffs at very good prices.

Stayed in this hotel at least 5 times previously. Love the location as it's just above Jordan's MTR station. Makes it convenient to move around especially when it's raining. Many nice shops and boutiques just beside the hotel. A perfect choice for shopaholics!
