Far away from the city
can get you to the outlet mall very quickly

I just had a the daytime to while away before my flight and wanted to go to the outlet mall in Tung Chung. Cheapest and nearest hotel to the airport that i could find was the Rambler Garden. It is a nice hotel. Friendly staff. Has mini bus connections to the metro.

if there is absolutely nothing else available in the neighborhood then maybe as last resort. i booked this hotel as most of my favorites places were full due to a convention in hong kong. this place is very bizarre, i don’t know if it was a previous apartment building transformed into a hotel or a previous retirement home. imagine 15 tall apartment buildings in a complex and one is a hotel. all is designed for the elderly or the handicapped! the restaurant is a joke; the hotel is full with 99.9 % very loud chinese middle age groups from mainland china going on their first trip overseas ever! the room is very small and we had two single beds that were almost identical to the bunk beds i had in the military 40 years ago. there is a pool but to be shared with the entire complex; however no one was there, besides the life guard. also the internet was a surprise; it’s available for the amount of hkd per 24 hours or +/- usd. someone needs to explain me this. the place is in the middle of nowhere on an island surrounded by absolutely nothing and even taxis don’t want to pick you up? the only plus is that if you take the elevator to the – 3 floor you are strait in a mini supermarket where you can buy almost anything. if you manage to get to the tsing yi station complex then you’re back into civilization with zillions of restaurants and a huge ulta modern shopping mall. personally i would not recommend this hotel to anyone and don’t worry with 1.4 billion chinese on the other side of the border i doubt they need additional business.
ps: i booked a superior room,i wonder what a normal room looks like! 6 square meters?

Good location and value for money
Close to the Airport, Disneyland, Nong Ping 360 and Tsing Yi Station

Had a very pleasant 6 day stay and was impressed with the location and clean room. Tsing Yi MTR Station is easily accessable to/from the hotel by frequent mini-bus services that operate just outside the hotel. Will surely return.

very cost effective lodging place.
could improve a lot, but just ok for an overnight rest.
nothing more, nothing less...
the hotel is located in the area where a very large container terminal is established. the terminal is in operation overnight, and the sounds from the terminal can easily be heard in the hotel room.
