Mordern & safe environment. Hotel standard yet price near hostel price so a great bargain in HK's case Far from city, a bit troublesome not near to MTR stations good if you'll go to airport early next morniing as it's near airport and cable car etc.

Clean, modern & value for money Small, inconvenience location as have to take shuttle or minibus to station If you're looking for inexpensive yet hotel quality then it's worth to stay. Same price much better than those 3 stars or hostel.

short transportation time to airport and convience for traffic it is a little far away from the center of Kowloon area and need spend more time in transportation Over all this hotel is very good , staff are nice , room are clean , nearby the mall and Hong Kong Disney and airport too, next time when I come to Hong Kong again, I will stay in this hotel again , and also I would like to recommend my friend to stay in this hotel too.

good value for money, top rooms superb view, quiet, free shuttle service to metro, good location between airport and downtown Rambler Oasis is located on route from the airport
to Kowloon and downtown. We stayed there only one night on our last day before leaving as we wanted
to visit the island and then head back to the airport. The island is only two subway stops from the hotel and costs 12 HKD. If you go the great Budhha also go the fisher village and take a cruise there (20HKD).
We liked the hotel as it was clean, quiet and on top staff was very nice and gave us a complimentary upgrade. From the top floor
there is an excellent view to the docs and downtown.

Halway between the airport and Kowloon in the container port area. Don't let that concern you. No free wifi in the room. Only available in the lobby. TV very restricted in terms of English language channels. The price was great. Getting a taxi to the airport was affordable at HKD 140 early in the morning. It is far away from the tourist traps and the central business district. Getting to MTR station to get into town is a HKD 20 taxi fare - the MTR is HKD 11.50 and takes 20 minutes. The hotel also has afree shuttle that goes to the MTR.

The room is very clean. It's something new for a hotel room, a high ceiling, all white, bright, bath has nice modern gadgets plus a frosted glass between the bath and bedroom. If you have to go Disney Land, the 360 cable car, Tung Chung shopping outlet, or a flight the next day, this is the perfect place. Only one stop form the airport express to Tsing Yi and a 5 minute taxi ride. There are also mini buses to the MTR and Mall. The price is very reasonable. Twin beds are a little small. Room has limited space for bags and suitcase. No place to go to buy late food and necessities, a distant walk though other buildings then to a basement to find foodshops and 7-11. Far from downtown I was very satisfied with my stay. Although the room was small, and the TV had mostly local channels, the room was very clean. The bedsheets, two pillows per bed and towels were very clean and fresh. Only the early morning front desk staff was not answering the phone for an important inquiry. A nice place to relax.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you plan to be near the airport, go to Ngong Ping 360 cable car, Disney Land or shop at Tung Chung outlets, this is the place for you.

Convenient location if you need to have easy access to the city and the airport. Affordable. The location next to the 24h container shipping docks, the noise just never stops. Well, I don't know what the superior room was like, as I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a Deluxe as this was the only way to get internet in the room.
The room was clean and the hotel seems to be quite new. As what seems to be typical for hotels in Hong Kong, the bed was rock hard, although it was unusually big for a hotel in this price class.
Try to get a room on the back of the hotel (facing the pool) as facing the 24h container shipping docks means 24h of noise which made it very hard to fall asleep.
The location isn't bad either, it's a very short taxi ride to the MTR/Airport Express station and the hotel does have a shuttle bus, but I didn't end up using it.
Couldn't find the shops mentioned by another reviewer here, although there's a nice shopping mall right next to the MTR station.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you're staying in Hong Kong for a few days, get the HK$300 Airport Express card with three days unlimited MTR travel, it'll save you a bundle and HK$50 is a refundable deposit.

not well trained hotel staffs, wi-fi only lobby, no electricity on the lobby floor, cannot use internet for too long, 7 - 9am limited elevator access overall very good especially gym is excellent! massage chair, tanning studio, pool and gyms are all free for hotel guests! shuttle bus to airport is very comfortable only 80HKD! close convenience store (7/11) different dishes available around that area as well.
wi-fi available on lobby which is ok but no electricity supplied on the lobby floor...need to charge up before using. if want to use internet for longer time, go up, come back and fourth. little too far from the station, not walkable distance (to me at least!)
Travel tip : gym is excellent! beautiful!

A bit far from town, no restaurant in the hotel I will recommend this hotel to all travellers even this hotel is located at Tsing Yi, which is a bit far from town. This hotel has nice & clean room with reasonable price. You can easily take green color mini bus to nearest MTR station with ~2.8-3.2 HKD. There are 24 hours 7-eleven near this hotel.

a little bit poor sound insulation the hotel is small but cheap and clean. the internal facility is very basic but sufficient. the hotel transportation is also fine with free hotel bus to train station in the morning within 10mins. a little bit poor sound insulation. if someone in next door wake up in early morning, you may feel noisy. only a simple and small cafe shop around. need to go to train station for more variety.

small, a little noisy if someone in next door is talking the hotel is cheap and clean but small. the front desk people is friendly. a little poor sound insulation. if someone in next door wake up in early morning, you may feel noisy. transportation is also fine with 10min bus or taxi to train station. overall the hotel is fine for cheap stay.
Shopping Tip : take free hotel bus to train station which has integrated a big shopping mall and also easy to go elsewhere

English speaking and very helpful staff. I needed a converter that the hotel sells, and the manager just let me borrow it. The room views are amazing all rooms get views of the harbor, and in the distance you get views of the Hong Kong and Kowloon skyline. Though view is enough to enjoy the skyline and some off the lighted buildings, you are too far away from the skyline to enjoy the daily 8pm light show. There is not a comparison to how close and good a view you get of the container ship port. Also underneath the Hotel is a supermarket, restaurants, and a 24 hour 7/11. Internet only available in Lobby, and not available in room. There was a usb modem option that was affordable, but they were all rented out for the next week. Also the metros in Hong Kong stop running at about 12:30am, so if you want a proper night on the town you need to take a taxi back to the hotel, which is about 200-300 Hong Kong Dollars, but for me it was worth it. Getting off the airplane in Hong Kong airport, I was a little disappointing to see how far Tsing Yi was from Hong Kong, and I told myself well this Rambler Oasis Hotel, better be worth it. To my surprise when I arrived at the hotel, it was more than worth it. I was impressed with its location right on the water, the view from my room, the helpfulness of the staff, and that it was only like 50 cents to get to the metro station via minibus. Additionally, from the metro station it is about 5-10 minutes to Hong Kong or Kowloon. Another plus is that underneath the hotel there are some stores including a grocery store and a 7/11. Overall, my experiences at the hotel were great. I stayed 4 days at the hotel and when I go back to Hong Kong I will stay there again.
