Convenient for a layover, but...

the hotel is nice, i have few complaints. i landed in hong kong at 11pm after a 14+ hour flight only to stand in line at check in for at least 45min. all waiting travelers were equally weary and a verbal altercation occurred in the lobby. the few staff members working the front desk handled the mob as best they could.
i got to my room and pulled back the comforter to find hair and what looked like dust in the bed-- truly gross. it was a king sized bed so i tried the other side, it looked a little cleaner (fewer hairs) so i just brushed it off and slept. i was too exhausted by that time to deal with them moving me (which would put me in competition with the long queue at the front desk) or waiting for sheets to be changed.
hopefully, the cleanliness issue was a isolated incident. i would give the regal another chance given the convenience in the event of a layover.

other then the charge for an hour's wifi, the hotel provides a good place for short stop over. The 24 hours in/out room usage is the best feature of the hotel

We stopped by this hotel for a China trip. Great service and helpful staffs. We stored our extra luggage at the hotel for a week and it is free.

the best selling point of regal airport hotel is the 24-hour stay!!
i do impressed a lot of this as you can check-in late and still staying long there, so you can have time to enjoy the facilities in hotel or just go shop around at the airport.

this hotel was a site for sore, tired eyes! right at the terminal, didn't even have to leave the airport. fast train is right in the airport for a quick trip into hong kong. we also liked that they had a family room and didn't require 2 rooms for 4 people.
