great location to airport. was just a short walk.
one of the best massages in years at OM spa. breakfast downstairs was amazing.

got in on a late flight and only had to walk 5 minutes. the only hotel in hong kong connected to the airport terminals. made easy travels. the breakfast was amazing. fresh fruits and an omelette chef. they want you to eat breakfast in the regal lounge if staying on the regal floors, but we found it no problem to eat downstairs. it is a much better breakfast. the massage at the om spa was one of the best massages i have got in years. all the staff was very nice and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the airport is the main hub for train travel to the city. get on the airport express and head to town. the third stop is in downtown hong kong. get off and start the journey. all other transportation is easy to connect. if you have extra time take the tram. cheap and if you get a seat up top it is a nice way to see the city.

Best option if you are tranisiting through HK.

Was fairly happy with the stay at the Regal Airport Hotel HK.
Asked for a room with a high floor & the dude at reception was nice enough to offer me a slightly bigger room to what I had booked on a higher floor, provided I didn't mind that there would be 2x single beds instead of 1x double - I was fine with that.
Room cleanliness wasn't fantastic in al honestly. I've stayed at lower grade hotels with cleaner rooms.
Decided to try the Buffet breakfast the next morning. Unsure if it was a great choice or not. Food wasn't terrible, but not fantastic for a hotel of that grade. Also way overpriced at around $35 NZD (at time of writing).
Overall, would probably stay again if I'm transiting through HK & don't want to travel to the city or pay more for an expensive hotel in the airport area.

Travel tip:
With a layover in Hong Kong this hotel is great. Can even shop at the airport which has it all! I arrived at 11p.m and had a flight at 8am next day. Left my room at 6:30 and had time for a leisurely coffee and read the paper and still wasn't rushing. I like this stress free airport scene.
