Hotel Feature Tip:
If you arrive late in Hong Kong need to be in Lantau Island the next day, it is good to stay here for the night for convenience.

Just an overnight stay to catch an early flight. The hotel is part of the airport complex and is extremely convenient for doing this. The staff are friendly and helpful as i had very heavy bags.I have used this hotel a few times and will probably use it again in the near future.

It is an open space hotel, the room I had was very nice indeed, the restaurant on groundfloor good and friendly service. Access to MRT and airport excellent.
What is a nuisance is the horrendous internet charges in th room. There doesn't seem to be a business centre and you have to bring your own computer! This is ridiculous and for that reason alone I would never go back.

Best location in HKong for a long flight layover

I chose this for the location and I had two layovers on this trip and didn't want to sit in the airport for 16 and 20 hours respectively. Clean, well lit rooms. Fairly comfortable bed.
Rooms are nice sized for Hong Kong. Decent gym on the 3rd floor, as well as a pool indoors and outdoors and a wet and dry sauna inside. Price is on high side, but everything is in Hong Kong. I would not hesitate to stay there again under similar circumstances.
Hotel Feature Tip:
In room snack/drink prices are very high. So are the restaurant prices. Luckily there is a Seven Eleven store inside the airport on the same level as the hotel. Also a Starbucks right before entering the walkway to the hotel.

great location, good service, close to airport. right next to a outlet shopping mall with all the intl brands, you name it, bally, HM, max, celine, burberry, a taste supermarket, opens till 12 am so you can shopping all the sourveniors from chocolcates, electricals, foods, drinks, fruits, all you can find it. right next to it is the metro which connects to the city, where there are all the attractions of Hkg. close to disney and you can take the bus, taxi there. it takes about 20 mins ride to disney. it is a great place where you can take your family and kids they will love it.

Location remains the biggest plus for this hotel. Wireless was very unpredictable dropping I and out which was annoying. As an International hotel the staffs English could have been better. Close to trains, good options etc.

Being next door to the HK airport is a big plus of Regal for travelers like us who arrived late in HK after a long flight. Our room is a bit small but has been fitted with comfortable beds. My two children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and were refreshed to explored the city the next day.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at

I make the trip from HKG to the US twice a year and usually I've stayed at the Novotel Citygate hotel which is only a less than 10 min shuttle ride away from HKG. But this time I decided to try the Regal, to see how it compares.
There's no comparison. The Regal rooms look very old and outdated.. there's no power adapter in the room and the wifi for HK120/24 hrs is weak and spotty.
I asked to borrow a power adapter from Housekeeping and they took more than an hour to deliver. In fact it might've been more like 2+ hrs. I grew so impatient I just walked into the airport to buy myself one for HK35 instead.
The wifi is horrible and I couldn't get it to work at first with my laptop. The hotel had to transfer me to their internet provider to help me connect.. a real headache that wasted at least 30 min on the phone. I'm an IT professional too, so it's not like I don't know my way around computers. It's just that their way of doing things is a real mess and a total rip off at HK120/24 hrs per device. I don't mind paying the high price for internet if it's a good connection, but this connection was junk. I was constantly disconnected and had to re-log in on multiple occasions.
If you're a traveler that needs internet I'd suggest using the free airport wifi instead. Not just to save money, but because the connection is much more stable.
Overall, this hotel was one of the worst I've stayed at for the price and next time I'm going to just stick with Novotel.
