Lovely hotel

When arriving after booking a smoking room I was informed the hotel no longer had smoking rooms, slightly annoyed as this is why I booked this hotel. Good location though as if your arriving late you only have to walk through the arrival hall then 200meters you are at the hotel. Everything in this hotel is very expensive though so look out when you think you are getting a good deal on your room be prepared to either pay high prices for food/drink or eat out during the day before returning to the hotel. Very noisy as the housekeepers seem to be continuesly cleaning rooms even after midnight, people coming and going all hours of the day and night, carelessly banging the doors and shouting without a care for other guests who my still be sleeping.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do not eat or drink at this hotel unless your not bothered what you pay. Very expensive.

Nice Hotel in Hong Kong Airport

I use this hotel usually as a stop over hotel when flying through Hong Kong as it is so accessible from The Hong Kong Airport.
The rooms are well appointed and have many features included.
The beds are comfortable and are very quite. I could not hear any of the planes landing or taking off.
Access into Hong Kong was easy and quick on the Airport Express Train and cost $100HK return to Central.

Their internet charge is ridiculous. HK120 per device! Plus the logon software is old school, so it's always a pain to logon, then switch from wired to wireless. I usually get charged 2 or 3 times and they just just delete from bill when I complain. Why should I have to? Heard others at the front counter with same issue, AND it's been happening for years, not just a glitch. I think as a Regal member- free, but they wouldn't let me join with my BUDGET AGODA booking. Are you reading this AGODA? I feel it's a nasty cash grab. The only great thing about this place is the location. Super convenient. The rooms are seriously tired. You get what you pay for... the Marriott was $100 more for the same day I stayed.
The China Bar had a lounge singer who tried to sing Imagine/John Lennon...... believe me, he's rolling around somewhere after that performance. 2 beers, salad and steak ---- $85.00USD WOW, can you say captive audience. There's nowhere to go quickly, they've got you by the short ones, so..... it is what it is.

If you book through Agoda everything is a la carte

Nothing around but the airport and Asia expo center. They have a shuttle into Downtown HK but if you book through Agoda you have to pay $35 US to use it. This ia also a non-smoking hotel even though its listed otherwise. OK for an overnight stay. Nothing Else. True 4 star hotel.

The furniture of some rooms is in good condition but a bit old like 70's, staff are efficient and speak fuent english, very helpful. The hotel is linked straight to Terminal 1 and 2 through a short corridor so if you leave very early in the morning it's perfect, plus you can go to the airport to get food all day long. Good but expensive restaurants in the 3-storey hotel. In brochures they say that wifi is free in all rooms but it's not true, that's available in the lobby only for a limited time. The large lobby is quite posh but tremendously noisy with all those fountains....

Perfect location for convention-focused trips

The hotel was conveniently located, walking distance from the airport. The Asia World Expo is just minutes away which made the location perfect for our our tip as we intended only to go to Hong Kong for a convention. At the same time, the City Gate Outlet is also just a stone's throw so we were able to squeeze and sneak in some shopping time.
