Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Most horrible hotel I've stayed at in a long while
3.3
I showed up after a long flight. Your reception clerk who checked me in was unpleasant. As she was checking me in she was more interested in chatting with a fellow worker. When I told her I'd like her to focus on checking me in - she slowed down even more.
The room was overheated and had no soap in it. It hadn't been properly cleaned. There was no ice machine on my floor. I ordered a pizza for room delivery. It arrived very late and was just on big thick soggy "crust" with lots of tomato sauce on it.
Check out was equally unpleasant. Before you tell me that I should have raised my concerns at the time with hotel staff, let me tell you that I just didn't want to deal with more unpleasant people.
Hong Kong is supposed to all be about good service and hospitality. The Regal is the worst hotel I have experience in a very long time.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Avoid the Regal at all costs.

Not s smile in sight! Rude staff
5.3
On checking I lined up at the regal line but was told I was in the wrong line.....well yelled go down there! I was also told my rate was "too cheap" for Regal loyalty points I was expecting. The staff spoke consistently top each other in Chinese when I asked a question of them in English. I inquired if this was eligible for Frequent Flier points and the nsuing conversation was between stff in Chinese with the same response "you are ineligible" - "you paid too little" When I was about to complete the check in I was informed I would have two single beds. I am 6'2" and had requested a deluxe room.again with remonstrations in Chinese in front of me another room was found. It has a queen bed. I was appreciative and noted this to the two people.
This check in was not busy but extremely disengaging. The room was weary and though not dirty plastic flowers and touch up paint work was a detraction. I joined Regal Rewards for convenience.
Travel tip:
This hotel is good if you book it last minute as the rotten down rate which is decertified is NOT cheapest on the day. The walk is convenient to the airport. It is world weary now and needs some work on PR. I am only likely to stay there if I arrive late in to HK. Novotel is also now available.

Everything is getting old - need upgrading
Walking distance to airport

Just for one night sleep, nothing much can be done over in this hotel however you can the airport express link for HK100 round trip within same day to the city and enjoy yourself there rather than staying in the hotel or walking around the airport. Set back is that you need to pay for the internet while inside the airport the internet is free. Wifi should be included into the room package.

Second booking at this hotel. Its proximity to the airport being a short walk away is very convenient when arriving late at night.
Staff helpful and efficient.

Great position with the hotel attached to the International Airport. It is really convenient, especially important for those who had a long flight travel. The room is excellent, it is very clean and not noisy as we thought before.

Hotel needs upgrading
Have hot water pot etc in room, excellent location to airport terminal

First greeting , long queue just to get a room even though already confirm bookings n paid to Agoda. Queued for 30 mins or so, in the wee hours of the night as I was enroute to USA the following morning.
Carpets, towels, shower and bathtubs looks old and stained. For this price I expected better and newer amenities.
