Elegant hotel in a strategic location

Our stay at Regal Hongkong was beyong expectation. It is our first time with this hotel and it turned out to be a good choice for us. It is very near shopping places, dining places, MTR station and most of all, it is just across a Church which was very convienient for us especially for the New year's eve mass. Hotl staff was very courteous and with pleasant smiles. It is the best hotel along the Causeway bay area.
Travel tip:
Very near Jardine's bazzaar and just across a church for devout Catholics

Each time we called the front desk to complain, they would send someone up to get the smokers to stop smoking but it was a futile attempt and we were constantly surrounded by horrendous cigarette smoke and that made our 5 days stay miserable.

Regal Royale the way to go
Convenient location & difference for Regal Royale Rooms

If you can afford the little extra, the Regal Royale rooms are worth paying more. If certainly do not feel as mass market and the same as part of the crowds. Getting a good harbour view depends on availability and you might not get the best to your standard. Close by to Times square.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is a free shuttle service to the airport. Check in advance if you can take it.

i was upgraded to a viscount suite during the stay, the staff was extremely helpful, the rooms were equiped with broadband connections, jacuzzi bath tub, fridge, there is 24 hours cafe within walking distance, sogo and mrt station was within 3 minutes walking distance as well, the bed sheet and pillows are also clean coz i have hay fever, did not have any problem during the stay

The hotel plays up the "royal" theme well. Gold everything and furniture that emulates "royalty". Could use better mattresses and an air conditioning system that is more "controllable". Setting the room temp at 23 still gives you 18C; only option is to shut it off or freeze. Front desk was slow in checking out but otherwise staff was friendly and helpful.
