Good hotel but not for that price

The hotel plays up the "royal" theme well. Gold everything and furniture that emulates "royalty". Could use better mattresses and an air conditioning system that is more "controllable". Setting the room temp at 23 still gives you 18C; only option is to shut it off or freeze. Front desk was slow in checking out but otherwise staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is one of my favorite hotel oft message, for distinguished strategic location, the room spacious elbow room than the average hotel in hongkong else imaginable. Near the hotel there any Indonesian restaurant

I enjoyed my stay at the Regal Hong Kong Hotel. The quality of the room's furnitures are above my expectations. The bed, though quite small for a normal/standard queen size, is made of good quality materials. Bed sheets, pillow cases, bath towels, etc. are obviously new and very clean. The separate bath tub and shower induced us to use the bath tub and have a relaxing hot bath. To sum it up, our experience and stay at Regal Hong Kong Hotel was very good and was above our expectations.

On top of the world
The Royale rooms come with great facilities

The Regal chain has three hotels in Hong Kong, this one is in Causeway Bay and just slightly awkward for the major sights, although just a short walk from the metro. The top floors are the "Royale" rooms and come with a host of extras plus a private check in and its own lounge; well worth the extra expense we felt, especially as there were several noisy tour groups in the hotel during our visit. The decor is very over the top, great if you like huge mirrors everywhere! Lots of space and wonderful service, and very comfortable. The roof top pool is spectacular but has very limited facilities apart from towels.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Zafferellis is the most lovely venue for a romantic dinner in the hotel.

Not Good as it said to be 5 stars

I chose this hotel because it was rated 5-star. But to me, I think this hotel is nowhere near 5-star in terms of the facilities, the room is quite old and not clean. The staff service is poor, especially the front desk. The location is not that close as I thought.
Shopping Tip:
I would prefer the Park Lane for my next stay, since it's closer to the shopping area.

Nice Hotel, great service
Zaffiro Restaurant was excellent

Hotel is ok although the location was not the best for what i wanted to do. Rooms are ok and the Zaffiro restaurant was excellent. The gym is too dark and the pool was cold. The service was very good and the people friendly and helpfull.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you take a cab from the Hotel, make sure that the hotel staff clearly indicates the driver where you are going. I took a sea sight tour that departed on pier 9 but the cab driver dropped me on pier 1 !! go figure. i had to run to make it to my tour.
