We found the Regal Hong Kong "ok" - but not a great experience for our first visit to Hong Kong. From check in when we were offered the HK$1000 per night "upgrade" for a number of inclusions such as breakfast and internet services - which IMHO are of limited real value for the additional cost to the blocked toilet in our room (I guess these things do happen and it was fixed promptly - and I've never seen such a large plunger!) and the forgetful housekeeper who forgot to replenish some items and left old towels around the room we found this hotel to lack the quality we expect at this price level. The decor with very "regal" fittings and plenty of mirrors was a little over the top It was conveniently located with a 3-5 minute walk to the Causeway Bay MTR station

The Regal is well located at the edge of the shopping and dining district of Wanchai. It is however difficult to get and from to during peak hours when traffic is heavy. The rooms are adequately proportioned but designed in a somewhat "empire" style with tasteless ceiling to floor wall paintings and inadequate lighting. The hotel reception is wholly inadequate during peak hours so avoid havcng any business there at those times. The Hotel will benefit from providing more amenities such as free bottled water, cotton and cotton buds.

My wife and I have a very good experience during our stay at the Regal Hotel HongKong Causeway Bay. The lobby is super. The room is just great with a big bed and a nice bathroom. Housekeeping is responsive and fast. The restaurant serves very delicious food. Location is very accessible to the shopping centers around Causeway Bay. The next time we get to HongKong..Regal Hotel HongKong Causeway Bay will be our choice.

The bed is big and the bathroom is great with a bath tub and a shower cubicle.

Shower cubicle a bit too small..a little bigger will do.

Shopping Tip : Regal Hotel HongKong Causeway Bay is very accessible to the good shopping destination around Causeway Bay and also a few minutes walk to the fast and comfortable MTR.
