Great busines hotel in Wanchai

The price of the rooms can be quite variable. There was construction going on when I booked with an upgrade to a larger (quite large by Hkg standards, which a kitchenette!) room, so I was quite happy. Price may shoot up after the construction work (and noise) is over though !

First of all, Regal iClub hotel is definitely a traveller's hotel. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel with a swimming pool, grand staircase and function rooms, this hotel is definitely not for you. But if like us, you're looking for a nice, clean, comfortable room, with a nice flat screen TV, Queen-sized bed, friendly staff, and all at a relatively low-price, then Regal iClub is your hotel.
Situated right in the middle of one of HK's commercial districts, iClub is perfect for the travelling businessman, or for us "accidental tourists".
The staff are friendly, and speak good english. They even give tips on good eating, touring and shopping places.
Kudos to Joyce, (who recieved us when we checked in last Sept. 20, 2010)for all the travelling tips around HK and Samantha (who happened to be on her first day at work last Sept. 22, 2010) who helped us out with checking out, and keeping our luggage since our flight wasn't till 7:30pm that day. She also helped us out with our luggage and getting a cab to the airport.
We'll definitely be back soon.

There were always something beyond my expectation during my stay. I chose i-club because its plus in the location near the HK convention center and I planned to walk to the fair. But there was one day that I need to catch a taxi while there was none available (due to the rush hour) the hotel staffs then offer to take me to the exhibition center w/o hesitation though they didn't need to. That was very impressive how the staffs came up with such a service mind!
Hotel Feature Tip:
if able, try to speak directly to the housekeeper that you need a daily water bottle filled up in your room.

Hotel is located in Wanchai. Easy bus connection to Stanley or beaches. The interior in the rooms are trendy and is different from regular (Chinese) hotels. The price is (compared with other hotels in HK) worth the money. Another option is the Regal hotel. This is from the samwe chain. A little bit more expensive, but more service (and breakfast) for an affordable price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't try to go to the peak by using the mtr line on saturday evening. Takes about an hour to get a ticket. Rather take a taxi. Cost about 100HKD

Great room design: each room has a microwave, fridge, safe, glass shower with dual heads, very large and comfortable bed, ipod dock (only for older version of ipods) and flat screen tv. Very helpful staff that were more than willing to help. Location is pretty good - close to MTR station and across from a Welcome store. Walkable to many eateries.

Overall the hotel is clean and comfortable with a very good location. There are two areas which are not acceptable with the entrance lobby too small and elevator too small. All room with free internat connection and free breakfast but not much choices of food. Receptionists are very response but not friendly.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The tramstop is right outside the hotel and so for 2HKD you can ride all the way downtown. Very useful for coming back late from central and the midlevels.
