I waited quite long for checking in. The hotel is old but the lobby is quite good compare to the room. The bed is small, but the room still has many space, why don't they put a larger bed in the room? The view is quite good even though it does not face to the river.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is not viewing point near by but it's good to ride bicycle there.

I have got a very very bad experience in this hotel on 10th Jan 2012. I lived in this hotel a couple times, never to meet this problem. I lived with my family in same day.
10 Jan 2012 is my big day, married this day, this was very bad experience.

the hotel is in the new territories so a little far from the main hong kong drag but offers good value for the facilities offered. check in service was slow but this may be due to the popularity of the hotel.

Comfortable and good service
Large and clean room. Bus stand just outside the hotel, making it convenient to travel to town and other places.

we were disappointed that we were not given a superior room that we had booked for. instead we were shown a new and trendy room which was very small, which was definitely not a superior room. however the staff was friendly and helpful. she offer to change the room but we had to wait till 8pm although we arrived at 1pm to get the room because of some on-going renovation work on the floor. we took the offer, and we were not disappointed; the room that was given to us was a big and comfortable room with a double bed that we had asked for. we enjoyed the stay there for 3 nights. we picked the hotel because it was away from the buzz in town. we could get a good room for a reasonable price. yet, we could get to town easily and cheaply by bus, which took not more than half an hour. there were good chinese yum char places within walking distance. and, a short distance across the river, there were shopping places. we had stayed in the hotel twice, and we were come back to the hotel if we were to visit hong kong again.
Travel tip:
there is no sightseeing places close by but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel that can bring you to places. bus 41a goes to the airport. it is equipped with racks for the luggages. bus 81c (hk$8.10) takes you to town (tsim sha tsui). bus 182 will take you to hong kong centre. 5 mins walk there are eating places. 10 mins walk there are shopping places. travel by buses is convenient and comfortable. it is better than the underground train, which is usually packed. buy the oyster card from any mtr station, it can be used for train and buses. there is a deposit, which is refundable together with the unused value.

hotel is really nice , very clean and my room was big ; there s several restaurants in and out of hotel where i could go and try different foods .the service and people are very good but the only thing i was dissapointed is that there s no internet in room included and the cost per day was really expensive and it worked badly too slow and there was no way not even to open attachments ,it s unconfortable if u stay there for bussines , ohhh and almost all refrigerators in the rooms are not worked.

i went to stay at Regal Riverside hotel for couple times already, this time is with my husband together.
convinience location and quiet place are always top option for us to choose and in here, we do feel like confortable and relax to stay.
Regal riverside hotel's room space is what we most happy with compare to most hk hotel room space.Room is really nice and clean and bed is confortable as well. no complaining on this stay this time.
Front desk's service is good, they are pretty patient with customer but that also cost long line up to check in and check out as well. hopefully this part can be imporve a bit that will be more perfect.
Restaurant Tip:
if you don't waht you can looking for some great food. you may take free shuttle bus to go to Sha Tin mall. there are couple good restaurants up there. most of time I am have great time for the food over there and after you done and it's late you can convience take taxi to go back to hotel within $20 HKD.

The room is small and uncomfortable

The room’s area was very small and I found very crowd and uncomfortable to live in there. I did not know why but it might be no any upgrading this time.
The Italian style restaurant in the hotel was quite good but it was relatively expensive. I think I will not be the frequent customer to this restaurant.
The fitness center was relatively good with all-round facilities for us to do exercise.
