A no-frills hotel, but meets your basic needs. Got an upgrade to L16, an executive floor, with a lovely corner room, with lovely city view - was very lucky.
Not within walking distance to any tourist attractions, so if you're short on time, I would not recommend. But if you have time and want to experience local community life - taking the mtr, eating at restaurants that locals would, shopping at a suberb megamall (Shatin New Town Plaza) - I would highly recommend.

I have stayed in ths hotel for a few time and this time a got a room which is nicely renovated. I can see the swimming pool and the river. The restaurants around the hotel area is very nice. Seafood,jap food, bbq food! all i can say is "SUPER"
