hotel is under renovation, so there is a kind changing over. For the price, the room is not too bad in Hong Kong. The foods are good. But it seems there is a shortage of staff in the hotel

Nice modern hotel in relaxing area
Nice, spacious room with modern facilities
6.7
the hotel staff are friendly and efficient even we arrived at the hotel quite early morning around 7 am. the room is big and clean. the hotel is located at shatin area ( not at the town center and a long walk to mtr station) so it is not convenient to take causeway bay and tst area for shopping. however, there is a shopping complex (where mtr station located)around 20 minutes walk from the hotel. as it was winter, the walk to the shopping complex is quite pleasant with the river view.

Reasonable price but not a great location
6.3
there was a huge line up at the reception at all time over our two nights of stay. the hotel was packed with customers and thus we waited for quite a while before getting served. overall, it was a nice (but a little old) hotel. things were clean. location isn't very great, have to take a 15 mins walk to the train station.

Location is nice but no free wifi
The middle of China and Hong Kong
7.7
I stay this hotel when I visit Hong Kong. The location is nice. In front of the hotel, there is the bus stop to the airport.
However, every time I feel inconvenience. The hotel doesn't supply Free wifi to us. They have wifi but they charge wifi fee. We can enjoy internet at our rooms but only LAN with additional charge. Wifi is available at the lobby only. There is no free wifi at this hotel. This is most important problem of this hotel.
Shopping Tip:
There is one of big shopping mall in Shatin. There are many shops, ZARA, Northface, M&S etc. There are many restaurants as well.

34 sq ft room for 4 , good size and value
My family of four can each have their own bed and still a little space to move around
6.7
I see tour groups coming in, more a tourist hotel . Not far from Kowloon but getting over to the otter side like Ocean park will have to make 4 changes of MTR. Will be more time efficient to get a taxi if there are 4 traveling. Food is just nearby, there is Watson , convenience shops and small supermarket too. A mall is just a few minutes away here the MTR and bus terminal are.

Family room for 4 ,a plus.
Spacious compared to most HK hotels
6.3
Having young children, I opted to get a good size room to accommodate all 4 of us and our luggage. Not easy to get one nearer town within budget.
More a tourist hotel so checking in and out may be crowded and require more time.
Staff are polite and helpful, rooms are clean, food and convenience store are within 5 minutes walking distance.
Shopping centre and MTR is a few minutes way by bus, bus stop is just outside the hotel.
Travel tip:
Taking a bus to MTR station to Tsim Sha Jue will take about half hour. If there are 4 persons, taking a taxi will cost a little more and save the hassle of waiting and switching trains , finding correct exits etc.
The shuttle from the hotel to other Regal hotels or popular destinations are not free .

Serene location, big rooms but not well kept!
Serene location and big room
6.7
Not all staff can communicate in English or Mandarin, which are the two most commonly used language in Asia...a bit disappointed with that...resulting in wrong rooms issued .
Rooms are spacious but...two single beds should be changed to two super single beds for comfort and i don't mind paying a bit more for that. Curtains looked not washed for ages and windows are very dirty, although very clean, cosy and nice lobby but guests do not stay in lobby for long...they stay in rooms for much longer periods...so hotel has to improve on the rooms.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
top of lautau island was cold at 13 deg C and drizzle and cold wind during December travels, ocean park was the reverse...as we expected the temperature to be cooling around 20 deg C but it was warm and everybody have to remove their jackets/ sweaters.
