Expansive Internet charge
Location for the purpose of my trip
6
Long checking line up & stone cold staff never smile on four different occasion.
Very expansive Wifi charges (25% of room rate). No free airport shuttle if you
are not book on their own website even I stayed there for four days.
The only highlight of the stay was the smiling & helpful housekeeping staffs.
Long lineup for checking in they serve people cut in line first.

Strategic location to make short trips to China
8.3
Swimming pool available but closed for winter. Large shopping center nearby. Good location for day trip to China cause railway station is only one bus stop away. Good jogging and bike trail at doorstep. Polite and helpful reception and concierge staff. Eateries inside hotel and in nearby areas at reasonable prices

Quiet location away from the hussle of Kowloon
The hotel truly has a riverside location and walking along the promenade was a part of each day.
7.7
i've stayed in three different kinds of rooms now and they vary in size and equipment (with a bath or only a shower), so ask to be changed if you don't like what you got. also, the housing estate around the corner to the back of the hotel has quite a few small shops, a supermarket and various restaurants. all the menus are in chinese, but the waiter/waitress can probably help you pick something. i saw other hotel guests at the thai restaurant, which was fairly good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Sha Tin Park (directly opposite the hotel on the opposite side of the river and then extending toward New Town Plaza ie Sha Tin Central) includes a bicycle rental. Take the time and rent a bike for an hour. You can ride along the dedicated bike paths of the New Territories. Without traffic to deal with, it's very pleasant and the cost is reasonable (HK$25/hr.).

Stayed in a small room this time, I believe the room is specially catered for disabled or old people with a lot of special facilities. however, the room was very small and doesn't have a desk.

We stayed 4 days in this hotel. On the 6 floor . Not value for money but it was okay because the room soze was big, it contain 4 single bed. I booked 2 rooms. And . Need almost 30 minutes to check about our booking. And i asked the no smooking room but they didnot have that.
Travel tip:
Far from public transport like train station. We must walk 30 minutes. But the foodcourt only 5minutes walk.

4 star hotel with a 1 star service
6
The hotel perfectly placed in front of Sha Tin promenade, near a bus stop and can walk across the bridge to Newtown Plaza. Although the room is nice, clean and quite spacious, service is not, this hotel is kind of a disciplinary camp. You are not allowed to slouch on the lobby sofa, not allowed to snack/eat in the lobby, and provides only one line for check-in /out that cost long queuing. "Curfew" is applied, means after 2 am, some lifts are locked and the two entrance doors are locked too. Internet is "just" available in the lobby (with extremely very weak signals) and every two hours you must ask for another access code. There was one time around 1am, when we were at the lobby with few other guests and busy with our laptop, a cleaning staff just came and wiped the lobby table that we're using, kind of rude that we're subtly "outcasted" off the lobby. I also saw an incident when a local HK complained to the manager regarding being overcharged for service and demanded for an apology.

The design of the superior room is good. It is close to shopping mall, mtr and bus stations. there is live band in the hotel. However, the staff are not too friendly to customers.
