Great & Clean Hotel

The hotel is located at shatin area which quite a far away from hongkong. Its located near a bus stop & mtr so transportation is not an issue.
However when i got there there is suspended service for hotel shuttle to MTR so a little dissapointed about that.
Overall the hotel is good.

The hotel rooms intterior is new and have a great view. Near Shatin, with a few big shopping malls just one bus stop away. You can take bus 86K to the shatin bus interchange when going to town. Hong kong MTR also nearby the mall.

Easy access to International Airport

I have stayed in this hotel for presenting a paper at a conference ( the conference was held in this hotel)and I was glad that my room was upgraded to a RegaliClub Room which was located on the 17th floor which faces the river.
The room was equipped with kitchen cabinet and induction cooker which allow keeping and heating of food. The room and shower area are clean, minus some stains on the water outlet at the floor due to ageing and frequent water flow in the shower room.
The hotel is located in New Territories. To go to the City Center, one need to take a bus to Shatin Central or walk (about 1 km) ; and then take a train from Shatin MRT Station to Hong Kong City Center. The train takes less than 25 minutes to reach various interesting location in Hong Kong. And the train ticket is priced around 8.50 Hong Kong Dollar ( or slightly above 1USD).
There is a direct bus from the airport to a bus stand opposite of this hotel. This is very convinient for late night arrival in Hong Kong. The bus fare is HKD 22.50, much cheaper than the HKD 200 taxi fare. The journey takes about 1 hour.
The staff do help but some may lack courtesy due to hush-hush and fast-fast rude type of attitude. I remember an incident where I press the button to go up in a lift but one of the hotel staff went in and said that the lift is going down. He actually waited for the lift to expire instruction to go up direction and then press the lobby floor. This is rude considering we are the hotel customer.
The room is big and cosy with proper air-conditioning. Considering the price, this hotel gives good value of money especially when the room was upgraded to iRegal Club room.

Great location but small rooms

Overall good service. I was attracted with the reasonable rates offered by the hotel. The staff specially gave good customer service. I would recommend this hotel to friends and would surely come back to stay again!! if you intend to bring a laptop, there is wi-fi available at the lobby free of charge, but it cost to make the internet in the room.

walking distance to bycicle track & facility. restaurants in the hotel are of good quality but pricy. if you want cheaper restaurants but relatively good quality, there isnt any in the vicinity. there are however many restaurants in shartin central. it is located in shartine new town, surrounding areas are spacious and open, next to the river. there is a bycicle track in front of the hotel. one can spend half or 1 day on this. it leads to ma on shan and tai po. those rooms facing the river enjoys the river view and mountains view at the far background. evening a stroll along the river can be relaxed and romantic for couples.
going to city, there are several buses with stops in front of the hotel.
airport, there is one direct bus, cost around, around 45 min rides.
Restaurant Tip:
better restaurants are at Shatin central
