Regal Riverside Hotel harbours good location in Shatin.The hotel has the shuttle bus to some basic places you wish to go,ie.New Town Plaza shopping mall in Shatin, Tsim Sha Tsui,etc.What's more,the service of hotel is really nice. Considering about the price item，Regel is a good place for business travel as well as the holidays.

Hotel is located in Shatin, NT. It is assessible to the Hong Kong/Luohu boarder by train. Hotel room is spacious, clean and value for money. One can travel to Kowloon by bus or train and transport is very convenient in Hong Kong so there is no problem even the Hotel is not in the heart of Kowloon. One can also find good food such as BBQ pork and roast pigeon just next to the Hotel.

the hotel is definitely nice and clean,big room for this price.
many food nearby.just right opposite the lobby ( outside the hotel)
the accessibility is ok,coz Sha tin is almost the last station of Mtr.
u can take mtr to sha tin then take a bus, after about 3-5 mins walking distance from the bus station, u will see the big hotel sign board!
highly recommended, especially with this price the room is really worthy!

i like this hotel because of the price. seems that it is the cheapest 4 star hotel in Hong Kong because of the location.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you know what to do in nearby, it is a perfect hotel. Going down town takes 30 to 60 minutes, which most HK people consider not too far away! the fastest way is to take a taxi (HK$20) to the nearest tain station.
Shatin is a great town and have everything you need, except the super delux shopping like LV....

there were problems with the air-conditioner which made the room very hot and stuffy.
furthermore, there were some problems with the tv (there were a lot of snow on the tv).

The rooms were good quality and well-sized. Wi-fi worked well. Restaurants good. Reception staff very helpful. The hotel is very busy. The standard of room was good value for the prie charged. Most importantly the hotel was very close to bus stations on both sides of the adjacent boulevard thus providing easy access either way. Very good bus connections to/from airport. Also easy walking distance to underground rail system.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Use the bus system to/from airport. Use A41 bus to/from airport.
But for traveling to/from central Hong Kong (Nathan's Road etc) use the underground subway which is far quicker and more direct than bus routes. There are 2 underground stations in this Sha Tin area. The underground station on the same side of the river as the hotel is the easiest to locate.

The hotel mainly is for group and chinese as we can see. The check in and out is very slow. Although the next one will be our turn to check in and out normally needs to wait at the line for a few minutes but no one approaches us and ask us to wait. The good point is the location which is near to shatin shopping centre. But by taxi. The shuttle was out of order last time which was disappointing. Or can choose to walk 5-10 minutes to Shatin shopping centre.

Great location and big rooms

It is located in Shatin, near the Shatin traffic center and very convenient. The room is great and big enough. I know the fact that many hotels only provide very small rooms in Hong Kong, since Hong Kong lacks for land resource.
