Great hotel

As I said in the subject line, this is a great hotel!
The staff are very friendly and ery efficient and the rooms have excellent facilities and are tastefully appointed and decorated.
The hotel is perfectly placed for the Convention Centre and it's conveniently placed so that you are close to the Wan Chai entertainment area but not so close to be disturbed by the traffic noise of the hubbub or the bars.
It's adjacent to they amours Star ferry which means its easy to get to the Kowloon side and the shopping in TST.
I will definitely stay there on my next trip.

Great hotel with excellent service
very good reception service. walking disctance to the Wanchai MRT.

The front desk is very helpful to ararnge a fast check in after my long journey from the airport.
The room is spacious and clean.
The location is walking distance to the Wanchai MRT station is very convenient to look for food in the nearby neighbourhood.

It is a five star hotel but the room rate is too high excluding breakfast.
Shopping Tip:
There is no shopping mall near the hotel but only the Exhibition Centre. If the tourist wants to do the shopping, who can go to Causeway Bay or Central.

Your choice for stay in Hong Kong fair

it is a good location for fair participants also a comparably cheaper one. the hyatt next door costs almost double, but you basically share the same thing. the hotel room with seaside view is fantastic. automatic window shade opens your morning revealing the magnificent view of hong kong. very impressive. the best of the hotel is the breakfast. the fresh juice station offers you all kinds of tropical juice and you feel you start your day as a health person immediately. the gym is good but a bit far away from the hotel building. you are out for a run anyway, so it is ok.

very convenient location for business meetings on hong kong island. also within easy reach of shopping and tourist sights and just a short walk from the star ferry. the views over the harbour don't let you forget where you are. room had been recently refurbished so very modern and clean. staff were very friendly and efficient - just a few minutes for check in and check out. hotel prices always amaze me in hong kong - there's no way to call this good value and that doesn't even include the (admittedly very good) breakfast buffet.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk down to the Star Ferry just after dark, take the ferry accross the harbour and stroll along the waterfront on the other side for a great view of Hong Kong lights.

the room is not very big and the general service is just ok. i think this hotel is perfect for business travelers, especially those attending the conference / exhibition at the convention centre next door. however, for leisure traveler, there are better choices. mrt station is about 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel which is ok. the gym/pool facility are not great but there's a rooftop garden. there is no spa in this hotel, the hotel staff gave me a brochure for the spa in the grand hyatt next door and advised me to go there.
Shopping Tip:
not many shopping spots available close by, the closest is probably the pacific centre
