Strategic location for tourists

the guesthouse is located at a very strategic area. just walking distance to jetty (to go to Macau), Kowloon park, restaurant, shopping area. highly recommend to tourist, especially back-packers. the room is rather small, but worth for money, knowing the hotel rooms in Hong Kong is very expensive.

the hotel location was convenient. it is very accessible via public transport (mtr, buses, etc.) and close to shopping malls and convenience stores. the family room is just okay for the price, with wifi, hot and cold shower and tv. we haven't had a chance to chat with the lady who let us in but we can tell that she is very strict..he he..

Ridor Questhouse has a good location and the person in charge is very friendly and helpful. However, only one small lift,the building is dirty and they provide insufficient equipment like floor mat, only one power plug, no tooth paste/toothbrush and the room is very dirty.
Please choose other hotel if you can afford.
But overall the room is larger and is slightly cheaper compare to other motel

we arrived at around 10 am in the guesthouse. Ms. Cindy the owner of the guesthouse was so friendly and very accommodating. She always checked us if we were ok and if we were comfortable. Everytime we go home to the guesthouse, its always clean and the bed sheet are well arranged. she is always around when we call her. The guesthouse is very accessible to the different tourist spot and shopping store in hongkong. if ever i will return to visit hongkong with my family, i will go back to ridor guesthouse. I recommend this guesthouse. I had a nice stay!!!

Accessible and Good location. Rooms are small but its okey because we are out most of the time we go gome late. Staff are friendlly and they gave us tip where to shop for great bargains. Mrt is just nearby. Tip book early to get big savings. Restaurant are just around the corner. Will definitely go back!

Rooms are bait small but I don't stay kong anyway, I go home late at night and drop dead tired. Location is very good it's almost near to everything from food to transportation. Staff far friendly as they give you tips where to shop. Got this hotel at bargain because I booked early. Don't expect a much as this hostel what important is location. Beddings are comfortable. Bathroom is average.

I highly suggest tourists against choosing this Ridor guesthouse as your living place. It's too shoddy, oozing with low-class feel. Everytime I was taking the elevator, the chamble was full of Indonasians....no pleasant feeling. Even if AC is sufficient, yet the bathroom, the bed, the quilt are in no way pleasantly looking. So, if u're to travel in HK, be loose on your purse string. Dont' be stingy. Just enjoy life. Go and choose another HOTEL!

Great location but uncomfortable corridors

we were quite happy that it wasn't as isolated as it seemed in
the maps we've seen earlier. it took us a while to find the counter as there were many other guesthouses in mirador mansion. however, the inner corridors were filthy and dilapidated. we stayed on the 3rd floor. right in front of the main door to ridor guesthouse is a dumping ground for the long-term tenants. at night, you see a lot of 'dark and muscular' men loitering the corridors, sometimes with scantilly clad ladies. the wifi was very weak inside the rooms. it's much better outside in the private corridor but it is not air-conditioned.
on a lighter note, the room was very clean albeit quite tiny. the tv had ample channels and had clear transmission. all in all it's still not good enough to cost about us$. hence, we decided to spend our last night in a hotel which was quite a great relief!
Travel tip:
The roads are still quite crowded at midnight and there are bound to be cafeterias around. Just walk into the small roads for a nice bowl of porridge. Pls don't waste your time lookingfor the nearest macdonald's for wifi (without sim card) because i hardly saw any mac's with Wifi in HK AND Macau.
It's good to buy a sim card so u can sign up for free wifi.

Small rooms but great place!

The snall room but the view is good. We can look out the Nathan road. The main street of Kowloon. Near the subway, many shopping center around. The attitude of the receiptionist is good. We feel warmly like my house.
