i stayed for a short while, but was very impressed with the quality of service an staff. also the location is great, so getting around is very easy. however, feel that the hotel has few amenities for someone looking for a business stay.

my stay was short but good. shopping and restaurants are close by and so is the subway. the staff is friendly and helpful. while the rooms are well kept, they are small for those that like luxurious rooms. overall, it was good value for money.

Great Location but small rooms

Overally the hotel is good as it is close to Causeway Bay area and to the MTR Station as well as the Victoria Park. The room quality is standard but the bathroom equipment should be improved especially the shower. Yhe service is OK so far. I will surely come to stay in this hotel again and would recommend to my relatives and colleagues to stay there too.

Good location, room is small, though
Priced lower than other hotels in the area

We spent 3 nights there. Although the room is smaller than what we have been used to, it was a good trade-off for the price. We got a great rate via Agoda. Besides, we did not spend much time in the room anyway. The bed's comfortable. The bathroom is small but they managed to fit a bathtub in it!
The walk to the MTR is a little further but the pedestrian bridge is a great help. We only had to use 1 pedestrian bridge.
The Causeway Bay area is great for shopping, and there's lots of food choices. We did not eat at any of the F&B outlets in the hotel. During the weekends, there are additional food choices for the Indonesians that gather in the area.
You can get to the hotel using the MTR or the tram cars. Fun experience to be on the upper deck of the tram.
There's a supermarket near the MTR station that's open 24 hours.
The hotel is very near (like a 3 minute walk) to the HK Public Library. It's a fantastic place.
Travel tip:
Near shopping areas -- check out Windsor House and Times Square. The malls are closed by 10 but the shops close real late on the weekends. Use Causeway Bay MTR station Exit E.
To get to the MTR station, walk across the pedestrian bridge (which should bring you to the Victoria Park) and walk toward the Windsor House/Park Lane Hotel. Cross the road and walk a few more yards to the MTR station.

The Rosedale On the Park Hotel offers good value for money, it is located quite close to the Causeway Bay MTR (walking distance) and all nearby attractions can be reached easily. They have an extensive breakfast buffet and free wifi.

small rooms but good location

for the price I was paying in that location there are not many complaints that come to mind. However I had an earlyish morning flight and it took a long time to get a taxi. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus but at not very regular times so beware!
The breakfast is also very good value for money. I think I paid around for good buffet selection.

The location is surely great but rooms are small
6.3
The price was great, the service really friendly. The hotel is close to subway stations, public transport and shopping centres are within walking distance. There is a beautiful park just across the road. However, the main entrance to the hotel is accessable via small streets and buses from the airport will only drop off passengers to the hotel on the main road.

Not on the Park but Better.
9.7
Location is in a small street which is good as away from the normal Hong Kong mayhem. If you come by the free Central shuttle the stop is 2 minutes around the corner, a minor inconvenience if you have excess baggage. We caught a taxi from Central and got dropped at the door. Staff were very helpful and courteous. There is a bag drop and the Concierge is great with directions. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite on the 26th floor which had good views of the surrounds and the harbour. The room was clean, modern and well decorated and appointed. The bed had good quality linen and covers and was large and comfortable. The one minor irritation was the small bathroom, with the shower (excellent full rose) in the bath. This could be irksome if you stayed any length of time. The extras are good - toothbrush, robes, iron + board, etc. -
and all the fittings modern and functional.
One minute away on Causeway Road is the tram - a Hong Kong icon - and you can travel the length of the Island for HKD$2.00 - fantastic!! Across two overpass bridges about a ten minute walk is the MTR (access Kowloon easily) and shopping++. We are not "shoppers" but there is everything from local to Sogo department store to World Square - 16 floors and 230+ shops - we couldn't resist. Try "Kings Cuisine" in Windsor House 6F, some of the best dim sum we have ever had. If you are feeling flush take MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui and go to iSquare Kowloon and try the restaurants on 29F and 30F...great views of HK.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the tram to the Western Market, and head up the hill to Cat Street antiques and market and the Man Mo Temple.

location within easy reach of attractions
7.3
The Rosedale on the Park Hotel offers a central location in Causeway Bay. Because there are MTR stations within a short walking distance, you are very close to the business district and to the primary tourist attractions. This hotel lies in an area full of shops of all sizes - you may purchase anything from inexpensive souvenirs to high-end designer apparel. The hotel has more than 30 floors. You will find a restaurant on floor 2 as well as a bar with a view on floor 33.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Reaching the hotel from Hong Kong airport is easy and inexpensive. If you take the train to Central station, Rosedale on the Park offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the hotel.
