Founded in Beijing and renowned for authentic “Shuan Yang Rou”. Paper-thin slices of Inner Mongolian black-headed mutton is cooked instantly and stays tender even when boiled for longer periods of time. Steve Leung Designers has retained The Chinese Restaurant's familiar palette of warm browns, gold and beige tones and decorative wall partitions, but combined them with figured makove wood that has reddish brown tints and natural mica stone columns and wall features that sparkle with gold.

This hotel is very well located, in the heart of Koolown side of HK, it is not huge but has a very distinctive admosphere. Service was excellent , and the restaurants are perfects. The Pool is one of the nicest I ever seen, loc ated on the roof, with a magnificient view of the city. We can also have access to walk on the avenue of the stars very close, and walk to the ferry is easy.
So, overall I would recommanded to all.

great rooftop garden and pool
excellent service everywhere
beautiful hotel
superb location wireless only works in bathroom and hallway
food quality for breakfast is so so I would return to the Royal garden, if only for the peaceful rest the rooftop garden and pool provide from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. The fitness center is immaculate and well equipped and the staff - everywhere - makes you feel like royalty !

Italian restaurant in the hoel is excellent (but very expensive) Staff not eager, hotel old, bad service, noisy, i did not like it. Very very far from MTR, Taxi to Central costs at least 130 HK$ This hotel is old, but that would be OK, they have the advantage of a great architecture with the garden inside, this would give the hotel someting extra that would one make come back. But this is not the case, the staff from reception etc. is very unfriendly dislikes guests; the chat and do not work; the rooms are small and not well equipped (there is no place to plug your computer in; in fact also not the providen water cooxker, except on teh ground like a camping). I had a bad time the price was quite high but the service and overall feeling was far below zero.
Hotel Feature Tip : Italian Restaurant, Sabatini, is excellent but the prices are over the top; there thse staff is more or less OK; bit pushy and polished. But the chef there cooks like heaven. (You can go there without staying in the hotel!!)

From Hong Kong International Airport proceed to the North Lantau Highway which will eventually lead to Cheung Tsing Tunnel. Continue along the Cheung Tsing Tunnel where Route 3 will merge follow by Lin Cheung Road. Proceed along Lin Cheung Road and then turn left to Wui Cheung Road. From Wui Cheung Road turn right to Canton Road and finally make a left turn to Austin Road which will then extend to Cheong Wan Road. Continue along Cheong Wan Road until Hong Tai Path and turn right to Science Museum.
