great rooftop garden and pool
excellent service everywhere
beautiful hotel
superb location
wireless only works in bathroom and hallway
food quality for breakfast is so so
I would return to the Royal garden, if only for the peaceful rest the rooftop garden and pool provide from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. The fitness center is immaculate and well equipped and the staff - everywhere - makes you feel like royalty !

Italian restaurant in the hoel is excellent (but very expensive)
Staff not eager, hotel old, bad service, noisy, i did not like it. Very very far from MTR, Taxi to Central costs at least 130 HK$
This hotel is old, but that would be OK, they have the advantage of a great architecture with the garden inside, this would give the hotel someting extra that would one make come back. But this is not the case, the staff from reception etc. is very unfriendly dislikes guests; the chat and do not work; the rooms are small and not well equipped (there is no place to plug your computer in; in fact also not the providen water cooxker, except on teh ground like a camping). I had a bad time the price was quite high but the service and overall feeling was far below zero.
Hotel Feature Tip : Italian Restaurant, Sabatini, is excellent but the prices are over the top; there thse staff is more or less OK; bit pushy and polished. But the chef there cooks like heaven. (You can go there without staying in the hotel!!)

Convenient location
Good Value for money
Excellent room and conveniences
Great Food
TV had no entertainment channels in English except for an in house movie channel.
Excellent room facing the waterfront ( lucky I guess ) between two buildings on Mody Road. Clean fresh sheets and towels and amenities were available.
Room service was efficient and very prompt.
The Vietnamese restaurant lived upto its good reputation. Checkin was very prompt and so was the check out. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and highly recommended.
Restaurant Tip : The Vietnamese Restaurant De Soleiel serves excellent Jumbo prawns and chicken noodle soup. Definitely a must try even if not staying at the hotel.

Excellent Hotel with Great Location, Great Lobby, Great Swimming Pool, Great Martini bar. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Since I am a Vegetarian, the Italian and other restaurant did not have much to offer. They should cater to Vegetarians also with more options.
The expereince at the Hotel was great. We bought all the sighseeing tours from the hotel concierge and we were very happy. I was satisfied with the hotel.

very convenient location in TST east, and great restaurants inside the hotel - great roof top pool
can sometimes be a little noisey in the guest rooms because of the open atrium
I have been traveling to HK for over five years now (4 to 5 times per year) and have always stayed at the Royal Garden. The location is close to shopping, train and MTR stations as well as the Star Ferry. The rooms have been updated and are very comfortable - good desk area for doing work on the computer. The feature I like best are the many restaurants and bars located inside the hotel - you can return from a busy day and have drinks in the Martini bar followed by a fantastic dinner in the Italian restaurant Sabadini, or the Vietnamese restaurant le Soleil. A great gym to work out in and amazing view of HK island and Victoria harbour from the roof top pool - all in all a great experience

the roof top pool and the restaurants
can tend to be a little noisey in the rooms becasue of the solarium
I travel to Hong Kong 5 times a year and have been staying at the Royal Garden for the past 4 years. The location in TST east is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and the Star Ferry. The hotel itself has a great Itallion restaurant and Vietamese restaurant. The gym and pool facilities are great for relaxing or working out - the pool is on the roof top and has a terrific view of Victoria harbour and HK island.
Hotel Feature Tip : take some time to enjoy the pool area

I found the furnishings, levels of hygiene, food, bedroom and general service levels were outstanding.
My only criticism was that I didn't have enough time to explore all of the individual dining rooms and conferecne facilities!
The Royal Garden Hotel in Hong Kong is simply the best hotel I have stayed in the Far East. The location is very convenient to explore the amenities and sight seeing attractions around the Kowloon area of Hong Kong and it's in the central hub of shopping in thsi district.
The hotel itself comprises all the features that you expect from a premier hotel: restaurants, choices of various cuisines from around the world and furnishings are outstanding.
The bedroom that I stayed in provided ample space to relax and catch up with the office back in the U.K.
I was very impressed with the whole experience and I look forward to returning here very soon.
Hotel Feature Tip : Give yourself plenty of time to explore the top floor and the swimming pool.

Location, pool and health complex, friendly staff, cleanliness, price, layout
We had an excellent visit to this hotel. I was worried as it seemed too cheap to be of quality but I was impressed. I have stayed in Hong Kong hotels twice the price and not had the satisfaction that I had at the RGH. Just a pity that there are no harbour view rooms. I see some people do not get automatic sign up to the health club and that would be a shame as pool is great. Please check you have it - and use it!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walk to star ferry and go across to island on ferry, very cheap and spectacular!

Good location, price in range not too expensive, very convinience to go for walk, shopping, or food. Best; is quiet and yet lively in one location.
The elevators, so confusing as two of them don't go down to the Lobby.
I do not hesitate to recomment this Hotel to any one as I myself experienced a few time in difference occation, It is convinience and the price is reasonable, one can go shopping and come back to the hotel, refresh yourself and walk across for luanch or dinner, and after dinner you can enjoy a nice walk in the park or garden which are both non smoking area and very clean.
Restaurant Tip : The resturant acroos the hotel is one of the best Dimsum in Hongkong.

Excellent service, spacious rooms within stunning atrium style interior, well positioned for walking to shops, harbour ferry bus and rail terminals
Pricing of food and drink within the hotel is expensive - there is not a lot of incentive to eat or drink in
We were well teated at the hotelwith courteous and attentive service - nothing is too much trouble - the rooms are spacious and very well appointed

accessible to 7-eleven, money changers, mcdonald's, shopping area, mtr station (east TST station), taxi
far from LKF (almost 100 HKD if you take a cab)
Royal Garden Hotel is my favourite hotel to stay in Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong. If my intention of being in Hong Kong is to go shopping, RGHK would be my choice. It's also quite near the HK-China Ferry Terminal so if you want to go to Macau, it's easy. I like the fact that charlie Brown Cafe is just across the street and you only have to cross the road to see the Symphony of Lights.
Restaurant Tip : Charlie Brown Cafe across the street. Don't miss the experience!
