Royal Park is really convenient, close to MTR station and the hotel itself is really spacious and comfortable to stay

We come at 1.30 pm and still have to wait some hours until the room is ready to be occupied.

My first impression of this hotel is beyond my expectation. It is really best value of money to stay in Royal Park. We get comfort and spacious room and it is also very closed to MTR station where we can go anywhere easily. The front desk and concierge hotel staffs are also very friendly and helpful

Shopping Tip : very closed to shopping centre.

Clean and modern hotel. Excellent staff. All amenities provided worked well. Can walk to hotel from Sha Tin MTR station all indoors going through the shopping mall.

None

This hotel is a modern and convenient hotel and very convenient to the MTR and shopping. Everything in the hotel was new and worked well. Especially the Internet service. I was fortunate enough to receive a complimentary upgrade which was surprising considering it was my first stay there. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Hong Kong as it very conveniently located and exceeded my expectations. I will be staying there frequently in the future.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel is next to the MTR station and is not far from any major Hong Kong attractions.

Cost, staff, room size

Location, internet

Amazingly cheap, very nice almost upper class hotel - staff were excellent, room was big and pretty luxurious. I can't really fault this hotel at all, certainly not based on the cost per night ! You have to pay for internet access in the room, but it's cheap and doesn't add much to the overall cheapness of the room per night. The location is in Shatin, which is a bit out of the way, but the transport system in HK is excellent and it is easy to travel around the islands using this hotel as a base. I would definitely stay here again. Look around on the Net for web-deals which is how I got a good rate for this hotel. Was thinking about the executive room which was significantly more expensive (more than double), opted for the lower cost room, and was more than happy I did. In any case, I still think this would be a good deal.

Shopping Tip : There's a huge mall adjoining the hotel. Good for shopping and you can walk back to the hotel via gantries so as not to get wet if it's raining. Ask any security guard for directions, everyone was happy to point which way to go since the maze of stairs and signs and what not can get confusing.

prime location. friendly staffs.

there's a short flight of stairs from the lobby to the lifts which create inconvenience to guests with heavy luggages.

probably b'cos of the Olympics last yr; comparatively, price has came down >50%. there's only 1 free bottle of water; no supply of free coffee/tea in room. the cable tv does not include "free to watch" english movie channels such as HBO or CINEMAX or...; but only pay movies. good location for transport, shopping and food. but the crowd is amazing.

Clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff. Hotel connects to shopping malls, trains and buses. Very convenient.

None

I enjoyed my stay at Royal Park in Shatin Tin. The rooms are clean and spacious and it has friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is connected to shopping malls, metro and buses. There is also an airport bus which stops in front of the hotel. A laundry place is close by so I was able to do my laundry. Overall I find this hotel to be an excellent choice.

Restaurant Tip : There are about 50 restaurants in the shopping malls that serve everyone's needs.

Spacious rooms, good and convenient location, proxmity to F&B, shopping and entertainment

If the hotel can provide free or in-expensive shuttle bus service to city centre like Tsimshatsui would be good.

I have stayed at the Royal Park many times, even before it was renovated. I really like the spacious rooms and its proximity to the New Town Plaza where you can almost get everything. Although located in the New Territories the hotel is within walking distance to the MTR station so transportation is not at all a problem.

Shopping Tip : The New Town Plaza, a shopping complex, is located adjacent to the hotel. You can get almost everything, from cosmetics to fashion to household products, all in one stop.

No

I stayed in this hotel first time and I really like it. New Town Plaza is just 3 minutes from hotel. Also you can visit Ten Thousand Buddhas monastery. It is opposite side of Sha Tin MTR station. Hotel looks new, toilet and bath equipment is clean and new. Flat TV in room, 40-50 TV channels are available. I stayed at non-smoking room and was not any smoke smell there. Very good choice for shoppers!

Spacious room, great location in the heartland if one is familiar with the neighbourhood of Shatin

No newspaper in the morning. No signage as to where the check-in is, from mall to the cafe entrance. Poor signages for routes to malls

Even if one stays only 1 night, I think one still deserves the basic newspaper in the morning. Poor signage connecting the hotel thru the shopping malls; only 1 route given when there are alternative routes through the open public space.

1. good position with food court 2. clean and quiet

1. expensive for internet access, it should be free.

a good place for business trip. near food court, train station, and subway station. clean and quiet room. it is worth to stay here for 1-2 nights. The disadvantage is 1. expensive internet access. 2. check-in court service should be improved. the waitress should smile to explain the customer expense clearly.

The great linens, bathroom and TV. Being attached to the best mall in the area! How close you are to everything... movies, restaurants, shopping, everything you want in a hotel!

I didn't find any cons that were noteworthy.

This hotel is one of the finest economical hotels I have ever stayed in (and I live in hotels at least six months of the year!). The great comfortable beds, the great TV and bathroom, the incredible service... you would think you were staying in a five star hotel costing at least 3X per night!

Restaurant Tip : The restaurants in the mall (Level 5 - 7) are good... we especially enjoyed the Indonesian one. Also you have to try the Chinese noodle shop right next door! It's great!

The hotel room is good. The staff is very helpful.

A bit far from the city centre. It takes more time to go from one place to another.

The Royal Park Hotel Hong Kong is certainly a place for tourists who want to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Right next to the hotel is a big shopping mall. A lot of restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. There are several tourist spots that you can visit. The hotel's facilities are very good, e.g. the fitness centre, swimming pool, etc..
