Great room even better staff.
Room size, staff and free shuttle.

This hotel was a little away from the centre of everything but well worth staying. Being away from the centre of the kaos was well worth it and the free shuttle was a great plus. The staff could not do enough for you and made our stay very enjoyable even though I did not enjoy the stay in Hong Kong this hotel made it bearable. Especially Jason Wong deserves a special mention he was so friendly and helpful as asset to the staff.
Would have liked to get into the country side a bit but unfortunately there was a typhoon warning and this was not possible.
Shopping Tip:
Do any camera shopping at Fortress in Mong Kok and ask for Nero he was exceptional.

We arrived via the shopping centre connection. It was a little confusing to find the lobby at first. check in was OK but we didn't know they don't accept debit cards which was a little of a hassle. Got a deluxe room with great view very clean. The breakfast area and dining area had a tired look about it, needs a make over. However breakfast buffet was great with everything imaginable. Pool area is mostly under cover which we didn't realise

we enjoyed our stay. we opted for a hotel in sha tin (new territories) because being a bit further away from hk island and kowloon the rooms are larger and a bit better value for money. it is actually very fast to get to hung hom station, only around 30min. the hotel being attached to the mall was great, because you have access to the mtr, shops, restaurants and supermarkets without going outside. our kids loved going to the pool!
some negatives were that breakfast wasn't included and they charged for internet.

The hotel is nearby the train station and shopping malls. There are a lot of food varieties to choose. The river side view is something unexpected but really impressed. The room is more spacious when compared to the Hotels in Kowloon and Hong Kong island. The breakfast and tea sets are good as well. Shuttle buses to Mongkok and Kowloon stations are also add valued to visitors.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Sky100 is a good place for tourists. I got discounted tickets as the guest stayed at Royal Park.

We booked a family room. Sizable room with space for our lugguages. Hotel even provided a complimentary birthday cake on my birthday! Enjoyed the convenience of having a directly linked shopping mall to the hotel. Great to have a snoopy's world playground at the mall for the kids!

You could get to anywhere in Hong Kong from this location without much effort

We chose the Park Royal from reading views from other travellers. When we go back to Hong Kong we shall stay at the Park Royal and would not hesitate recommending to fellow travellers.

The hotel is a little far away from the city centre. However, it locates next to the big shopping mall you may feel you are in the city centre. There are many restaurants around the hotel in a walking distance. You may enjoy your stay with leisure and shopping and eating. Hotel swimming pool is good. There are expensive car park and internet charges.
