Easy access to shopping malls. Personnel very courteous and professional.
Beds are hard, not very comfortable.
This is my first stay at Royal
park Hotel, it was clean and comfortable. i loved that malls were easily accessible, including the MTR station.

not convenient to visit friend in different floor
I have been stayed in Royal Park Hotel several times already, I enjoy the stay here due to its perfect location no matter I am from airport or even China. The most important thing for me is which is very easy to access to dinning restaurant or shopping area, as it is not in K.L or H.K. downtown, so the pricing there is very reasonable when you do shopping there. Great location.

Stdard of the rooms; faultless apppointment and decor, also above average size for Hong Kong. Staff service and friendliness. Convience to New Town Plaza and transport. Overall, a great experience.
Fees payabvle for in-room internet an uncessary annoyance.
The Royal Park is a really lovely hotel. The quality of the rooms is first-class. Service was excellent The integration of what was formerly the KCR rail line into the MRT system means that Sha Tin (where the Royal Park is located) mis no longer distant from the city.
Restaurant Tip : The food court in Yata Supermarket, immediatly adjacent (and connected to) the Hotel id a gerat place to eat

located in shatin, near Chinese University and science park; large rooms and good service; connected with a large shopping mall
A little far from the main part of the city; No breakfast provided; Expensive internet.
I stayed at this hotel because I had activities at the science park, but will consider it for other times I have to stay in Hong Kong. It is reasonably priced, but high quality hotel. While it is in the New Territories, there is easy access to all of HK through the MTR. Will be looking at other opportunities to use this location. Regret that they did not provide breakfast and charged extra for internet. This is not a big name hotel, but the quality is what you would expect.

New decoration and feel comfortable. The hotel location is great very near the Shatin train station with a big shopping area. It takes only 15 mins to walk from the train station, however you will feel great as there are many shops that you will never feel boring.

Less than a 2 min walk across the street to New Town Plaza with all the famous and best shops. A variety of restaurants serving North American fare to local chinese foods both in the restaurant and within 3 mins of walking distance. Fast, efficient service at all restaurants we went to and it is obvious that restauranteurs in Hong Kong and at the Royal Park Hotel take pride in their food presentation. Costs of meals ranged from great food economically priced to moderately priced ($4.00 Cdn for full scrumptious breakfast and $8-14 for dinners). Beds were the coziest and most comfortable I have ever stayed in yet. Cleaning staff always greeted you whenever they saw you and it seemed very genuine. Hotel is also within a 2 min walk to the bus and subway system which is attached to the New Town Plaza. The fitness enthusiasts, the hotel is also close the river with a great bike, walking pathway. Every morning, hundreds of different groups of local people gather in parks, and almost all open areas and do Tai Chi.
The only con was that the gym that was in the hotel was not included in the hotel stay, even though the hotel ad said there was a gym, pool and sauna. The pool and sauna were free but it cost around $14 Cdn per visit to use the facilities. While a bit disappointed with this, it was a great excuse to save $14 every day and run outside along the never-ending river walkway.
Absolutely nothing. As a first time visitor to Hong Kong and the Royal Park Hotel, there were no complaints.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was impeccably clean and welcoming with luxurious king size beds and the softest sheets. The hotel staff was always helpful, courteous and offered many suggestions on how to get to different venues. It was also a very unique experience to have every hotel staff member greet us whenever they saw us in the elevator, the hallways, etc. I would definitely book this hotel again. While we did not see many children, this hotel seemed very young to teen friendly in that there are lots of things to do right next door or just outside the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We wanted to go to visit Mainland China while in Hong Kong but were unsure of the visa process as we had not gotten visas in Canada before we left. The concierge at the hotel told us the experiences of one of the Australian guests and advised that it was quite easy to get visas at the Chinese border. We went via Subway to China and got the visa at the border exactly as the Concierge told us. A one hour subway ride will take you to the Chinese border in Shenzen, China where it is possible to find all manner of local and foreign goods at cheap prices.

decorations are good, nice and clean.
Staff are not quite polite.
Hotel location is convenient, as it is near to Shatin Train station and Huge shopping malls. Hardware is totally fine and new, however, service quality is still needed to be improve, some staff are impolite when talking to customers.

We had a nice stay in Royal Park Hotel. And I believe that many people can be impressed by its convenient communication, huge shopping mall, 1arge room area, and good fitness facilities and swimming pool.
1 The window in the room cannot be opened
2 Internet is charged, 100 HKD/Day, bur in many hotles it is free.
Gnerally we had a happy time during our stay in the royal park hotel, and my wife is satisfaied with this hotel for its comfortable environments, its location and its room decoration. I am glad this time becasue my wife usually omplained that i did not have a wise chioce in booking hotel. Although its low price,my wife spent a lot in the shopping center.

Affordable rates and convenient location.
No clear direction to get from the bus terminal to the hotel.
There is a direct bus service between the Hong Kong International Airport and Shatin. The bus terminal is actually quite close to the hotel but it is not possible to get help with direction unless you know the name of the hotel in Cantonese. None of the 5 people I approached knows the name of Royal Park Hotel. I had to get into the main shopping complex to look for the English direction and eventually it was a good 20 minutes walk including climbing up and down some 3 floors before I found the reception. From then on it was a breeze, staff are friendly and I even got a beer for welcome drink.
The hotel is close to the Shatin KCR train station making it very convenient for me to get to my office. There are plenty of shops and eateries in the adjacent shopping complexes.
All in a well located hotel for business or pleasure especially if one visits the the New Teritorry and Kowloon areas.

Next to mall, closed to MTR station
Location is quite far from city
For family, it is a good choice to stay at Royal Park Hotel, since very convenient and easy to fnd foods. You just go down from elevator to 3rd floor and you can find mall easily. The New Town Shopping Centre where just next to the hotel also provide many excellent goods to shop. Interior hotel also still new which is very nice to stay. Just only hear some noise due to renovation works
Shopping Tip : The mall has also branded dept store and outlet which is nice to shop with

Spacious room, new and modern, next to mall
Definitely we would like to come back staying at Royal Park Hotel, since the room is spacious for Hongkong hotel standard for the same rate applied. Interior is still new and clean. The location although quite far from city, but very close to East Line MTR station. Mall is also just few steps walk, which is very convenient to find foods and shopping
Nightlife Tip : The pizza in the bar at hotel lobby is very delicious
