Perfect location
close to all shopping, rooms lovely

first time to hong kong. best location, walking distance to everything. shops underneath the hotel are beautiful and cheap. markets just outside the shopping centre. nice cheap cafes inside and outside of the hotel. pefect for me.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must go to the Peak by Star Ferries, very cheap.

room was large comparing with many other hk hotels

though the price was not too expensive for a 5 star,but in terms of the service standard, location, and the fact that everything (including wifi)is chargeable, i think it only has the quality of a 4 star hotel.
Shopping Tip:
Don;t buy things from 541 Nathan Road, the small business owner was caught by me for scale cheating, and he didn't even apologize for it.

we stayed for 5 nights in a family room. perfect for 3 adults. location is great and just next to the mrt. the markets are just a short walking distance. the shopping mall is next door, nicely connected to the hotel. had a great time!!

I arrive early at the hotel, but there was no problem to check inn early.
Breakfast is the best i ever got in any hotel i stayed before, it was something for everyone.
The hotel has direct access to a shopping mall, and the MTR, close to many street markets.
The service is very good, and everyone working there is very helpful if you ask for something.
Would stay at this hotel again.

Lot of good deals at the street markets around the hotel.

Convenient location tucked away

spent 3 days there and thoroughly enjoyed it
however, the thing that sucked the most about this hotel is the fact that they wanted to charge an exorbitant amount of money for wifi access
but apart from that everything was generally ok
facilities were good and location was better
i booked a standard room with a big bed but they didnt have any left so got a free upgrade as well

royal plaza had been a great 6d5n stay. considering the usual hk hotels, rp's hotel rooms are spacious, well lit and very comfortable. the facilities are clean and up to date. it's well situated near mongkok, mongkok east and prince edward mtr- very easy to go out at whatever hour and still manage to travel/ shop/ scavenge for supper. just below the hotel is also a shopping centre (with a cinema!), which means that should you be tired but still itching to go out, you can pop over at the shopping centre to satisfy that craze another plus point will be the polite helpful staffs. however, a minor disappointment will be the lack of wifi. wifi is chargeable at hkd $40/ hr if you want to use it in the rooms. nonetheless, that lack of wifi did not dampen the whole holiday experience. 4.8 out of 5.
