ambiance was good, clean hotel. hotel staffs are friendly. very accessible to mongkok east mtr and shopping malls. few minutes walk to mongkok mtr by walking past the streets or a direct link bridge.

The hotel is overall really great, with friendly staff and great services. Breakfast is fantastic, with many alternatives both Asian and western.
The only complaint I have, is their lack of environmental awareness, we were not able to keep towels or soap for example. This is something I appreciate, and would encourage them to improve.
Other than that, it is a great hotel with great facilities, all guests should try the jacuzzi and swimming pool, gym is also well equipped.

A good hotel with very large room in HK

It was a good experience to stay in Royal Plaza Hotel. It is in a busy area very close to a fish market, a flower market and a shopping ball and MTR stations are nearby. It is very convenient if you plan to go to Shenzhen in mainland, because you can just catch the train at downstair. Room is clean and super big. It is hardly to believe you live in HK with that room size. Perfect choice if you travel with kids.
Restaurant Tip:
New Centrel shopping mall is just nearby. There are sevral good restaurants in 7th and 8th floor of that mall.

Fantastic hotel

Had a wonderful stay at Royal Plaza Hotel in Mong Kok. A luxurious feeling from start to end. My room was on the 19th floor with a nice view. Large room, all amenities and nice bathroom. I had the best massage ever in the health club/SPA. Can only recommend this hotel. Easy to reach by MTR and lots of shopping nearby.

Great location but small rooms

This is my fourth time stay in Royal Plaza. I like the location and is accessible to MTR station. However, the room service and the setting are not as good as before. For instance, one day I went out at 0930hrs and come back at 1530hrs, the room still hasn't been tidy up and the bed hasn't been made. Also, the remote control is not working and the mirror is missing. I suggested that the staffs need to be well-trained and the old things need to be replaced.
Shopping Tip:
There are all sorts of things to shopping around and also the nice restaurants

Very Nice hotel. One of the best places in Mongkok

great service. we got upgraded to the executive floor due to the hotel being busy during the cny period. pity we weren't able to use the club but the room was big and very comfortable. the hotel is located above the grand century shopping centre and all means of transport is close. it's perfect for people thinking of heading to shenzhen.

i truly enjoyed staying at the royal plaza hotel. it is so easy to find off the old kcr, new mtr line. the shopping center offers movie theaters and tons of places to eat and shop. you can leave hope and not worry about forgetting something because the stores have everything you need. staff was very friendly and helpful.
Hotel Feature Tip:
this hotel is very a safe place to stay. all hotel guests have to have an access key to enter and move from floor to floor. i was very impressed!

Great hotel on good location for Hong Kong

we stayed in this hotel during chinese newyear. we found it a perfect hotel for exploring hong kong because it's in the middle of the chinese part of the city. metro is directly under the hotel which makes traveling through the town very easy as is a large shopping centre with foodcourt. rooms are quite large and comfortable but a little dated / worn dowm. the breakfast buffet was the best wan we have got during our trip through asia. a lot of choice, also western food.
