Nice clean hotel, a tad old. Good location above mtr. Mongkok just a stone's throw away. Lots of execellent food and shopping.

both my wife and i enjoyed our stay in royal plaza hotel. we were fortunate to be upgraded to the executive room and it so happened the room was on the highest floor. the room was clean but we actually requested for non smoking floor and there was cigarette smell lingering in the air of our room. the service staff were quite alright i guess but of course we didn't interact with them much except for check-in and check-out.
the location of the hotel is great, as it is within grand century shopping mall and walking distance from mongok east mtr. the hotel is around 10-15 minutes walk to the famous ladies' street.
rph will be one of our preferred hotels when we travel to hong kong next time. we will also recommend this to our friends too. :d

i love to stay in this hotel from the first time i entered,excellent services and also near to shopping mall and mrt.. Although i had some troubles with the key card but the staff took care of it professionally..

we stayed there for our wedding anniversary and they made extra effort to put some flowers on our bed.. service is good, rooms are nice and big.. they have shuttle services if your going to canton road or to the nearest mtr station.

Great location
Location was close to Mongkok, a subway station, and connected to a mall. Room was good, but it didn't have all the ammenities of other 4 star hotels.

this is my third stay in this hotel in hk. it is much prefered by me over the many i have stayed at in hk. the main reason is the room size and then the location. with the agoda discount rates its well worth the price for a few nights here.
the beds are equally big and comfortable, the cr is also quite roomy as well. sometimes the aircon is too cold but you adjust the thermostat, at least its not hot.
the ladies market is very close by and so is the flower marlet and goldfish market and bird market, all are worth a visit and in walking distance from the hotel. my wife loves the ladies market, she does lots of shopping there every trip.
the staff are friendly and helpful, the guys at the concierge dask are quite knowledgable so ask them for directions anywhere.
Shopping Tip:
Ladies Market is a must for my wife on each trip.

my stay at this hotel was very memorable. this is a comfortable hotel with great location. shopping was available next to the hotel with a shopping centre and street shopping. the bed was comfortable and clean bed sheet. the toiletries were complete. towels were available from bath towels to hand towels. i would definitely stay in this hotel again during my next stay in hong kong.

the staff is helpful and caring. the room service is excellent. never seen such nice room cleaning service. the duty managers are very caring too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
taking a photos on the tsim tsa tsui star walk for hk80 with 8r print is worth the price if you didn't bring a good camera with a large flash and camera stand.
