A 5 star hotel with excellent services

The room was pretty spacious with nice furnitures and a pretty nice bathroom. The locations to places of interest was good as it has 2 mtr stations near to the hotel itself. The famous pa sar malem ( street shopping ) were located within 15 mins walk to the hotel itself. However, the hotel lobby was pretty hard to find itself after we went up the escalator to the shopping centre. The hotel was located beside a big shopping centre. If u do not like the hotel food, u can go up to the level 5 of the shopping centre, where there are many different cusines where u can choose from.
Shopping Tip:
Go to the washing clothes street and turn left, i cant remember the street name but there are several shopping centres there where there are nice clothes for my age, and the clothes are not only of pretty good quality but also cheap.

stayed there for 2 days. non stop shopping and cant finish shopping as there are so many superb shopping vicinities in that area. location is excellent as located near to mongkok mtr station and another one just 2 min walk from the hotel

Excellent customer service but no wifi

The customer service is excellent. We were greeted with a smile everywhere we go. However, there's no free wifi services in the hotel as stated in Agoda. It is a paid service of HK$40 of an hour. That is the most disappointing part. Other then that, the stay is good.

it was a great stay with royal plaza hotel as its just beside another mall. very good location as well. food can be easily found nearby. staffs were friendly right from the receptionist to housekeeping. however, one negative comment is that the pillows were way too soft! overall, i'm satisfied.

I went to Hong Kong to visit relevant. As I wasn't born or raised in hong kong my family in australia chose this hotel stating it's close to far yuen market and other things. My aunty who lived in hong kong also stated that her relative stayed at this hotel when they got here so I thought ..why not?
I got an airport transfer straight from the airport to the hotel and as soon as I walked out the concierge took my bags and sent it to the room.
The second day I was there I didn't want my room cleaned and told the house keeper when I walked out and saw her. She was really friendly and insisted to give me some clean towels and the complimentary water bottles.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a shopping center connected to the hotel. When you walk down the stairs there's a cinema and some restaurant. Within a few minutes walk you can find the markets and some cheap restaurants across it that open til late. When we arrived it was around 10pm and we went for food hunting at 12am.
Tips: Walk out the shopping center and there's a bridge. Walk across the bridge and down the stairs you'll also find late night street food with heaps of people among there.
Going to the airport: I took the airport transfer TO the airport however since my uncle was local he told me to take a shuttle bus instead. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you where about it is (I forgot) but that bus is basically complimentary and it takes you straight to the airport. Took about 5-10 minute walk. Ask some local people perhaps. It saved me some $$$. Or take the train, it only cost a few dollars or less. The station is right beneath it.
