great location in the mong kok area. close to markets and shopping.
the staff are very helpfull and the the hotel very clean.staff at reception speak english well and can guide you in the right direction when venturing out.
Restaurant Tip:
Explore the streets around for restaurants or for a closer meal out of the hotel the shopping center attached has some fine dining on level 8.

The perfect place to stay and Very accommodating”

we booked a week stay in 19-22 oct which is the trip of this year. the host is kind and had everything well-prepared beforehand. the room is comfortable with large beds and other stuffs. my family had a great time enjoying with the comfortable hotel. great thanks to the hotel for the fantastice trip in hongkong.

Have recommend my friends to stay in Royal Plaza Hotel. They were very happy with the service and find the room quite spacious. This is my second stay in Royal Plaza and will definitely stay in this hotel again.

lovely hotel with good location

i am very pleased with the hotel. not only are the rooms comfortable and clean, the location of the hotel is very ideal. with the mtr just right below the hotel, it makes traveling around kowloon very easy. on top of that, the staff were very pleasant and catered to my needs in the most polite manner possible. royal plaza hotel, definitely worth going again.

Good hotel in Mong Kok

value for money. location is convenient if you're looking to stay outside city center. hotel staff is courteous and the concierge desk is extremely knowledgable and helpful. the free shuttle express to tst (high-end shopping district) and the kowloon station is a bonus.

Warm and Spacious Hotel

There's a very lovely and grand lobby which is attached to the shopping mall that also has the MRT connected to it so public transport was easy.
The rooms were large and spacious. Slightly outdated interior but still a warm feeling from it. The bathroom seemed a little more outdated.
Shopping Tip:
When shopping in Mongkok, dwell into the 'hidden' shopping malls usually found by a small shopfront and mysterious escalator which seem to have the best boutique shops where you'll find the hidden secrets!
While walking the streets, look up! Every building is a tall one and you can usually identify the shopping malls this way.

Lovely hotel with llarge room

It is really a marvellous hotel, with large room not commonly found in Hong Kong hotels. Although we stayed in superior rooms but each room measured at least 30 sq. metres. The rooms were kept clean aat all times during our six days' stay there.
The towels were clean and soft. The room maids were very thoughtful and they always kept extra toilet rolls, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms for us. The food in the hotel restaurants were yummy and comparatively cheap. The Dim Sum there wwas even better than those Michelin's starred restaurants. The location is great too. It is just easy 10 minutes or more walk from the hotel to Mongkok MTR, alleviated pedestrian walk all the way. There are so eateries within the hotel shopping mall or the nearby streets. The hotel staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. We will rec ommend any one to sstay there.

Ok, abut average for theprice

I know this is a 5 star resort, but that's stretching it. It's definitely lnicer than some of the 4 star resorts, but due to age, condition, and cleanliness. Its not a 5 star. The location is good it's close to the Mtr, but you'll still need a cab or bus to ferries. One major plus, it's connected to the mall with mcdonalds and other places inside. Cons? You have to pay for wifi, the beds are like stone, the rooms are ok, but not the cleanest. I had to request another room.
